IMX and IMR is a motivational program, through USA Swimming, that allows swimmers across the nation to compare themselves to the thousands of other athletes in their age group.  All your swimmer must do is swim a combination of events, at least one time per season, and USA Swimming automatically gives you your ranking. The CSP Tideriders rolled this past season wrapping up both the Short Course and Long Course Virtual Club Championship titles for the Ozark LSC. Colleen Young is competing for the USA this week at the 2014 Pan Pacific Para Championships in Pasadena, California. Colleen is having a great meet. Colleen has won several medals at the competition. Winning a Gold in the 100 Back and 100 Breast, Silver in both the 400 Free and 200 IM, and a Bronze in the 50 Free. Saving the best for last Colleen won the 100 Breast breaking her own American Record with a 1:19.23. Congratulations to Colleen!

  CSP athletes traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana to compete this past week at the NCSA Junior Nationals. The team did a great job. We finished 38th as a combined team, with the Women's Team finishing in 20th place. We were represented by Brigid Andrews, Justin Andrews, Samm Crocker, Ashley Daniels, Lexi Daniels, Evie Mauze, Melissa Melnick, Chris Reichert, Gabby Vieira, Lydia Welty, and Helen Wojdylo.  The meet started on Tuesday night very well with Lexi Daniels placing 18th in the 800 Free. The CSP Tideriders had 15 Swimmers representing the 2014 Ozark Zone Team that went to Oklahoma City and had a fantastic meet!  CSP was also well represented by having three of its own officials working the meet!  As a team, Ozark finished in 3rd place, well above their 5th place finish the previous year. Payton Dunn set a new team record en route to her 4th place finish in the 200 Fly, while Matthew Hillmer’s 800 Free and 1500 Free were the 2nd fastest times ever by a CSP Tiderider....

Sarah Finlay swam the 200 Backstroke at the USA Junior Nationals held this past week in Irvine, California. Sarah raced to 65th place.

This past weekend, during the Long Course Championship Meet, there was another competition on going.  There was the race for the Ozark Age Group Coach of the Year.  Of the seven coaches nominated, two were from the CSP Tideriders.  Both Lanette Imig and Mark Imig were nomiated by their peers. After three days and countless votes, Lanette Imig has been named Ozark's Age Group Coach of the Year for the 2013 - 2014 Season.  With placing seven swimmers on the Central Zones team, and winning the 10 & Under Boys...

  Congratulations to our CSP athletes that competed all last week at the 2014 Summer Central Sectional Championships held at the University of Missouri. Our Team took 14th overall out of more than 50 teams competing at the meet. Our Women’s Team placed 9th and our Men’s Team placed 25th. Special individual accomplishments at the meet were achieved by Lexi Daniels who won the Women’s Distance Award.
