Irish Aquatics Summer Spectacular Meet Report
What a great facility to attend a fun out of town meet! This past weekend 40 athletes traveled to South Bend, IN to swim in the Irish Aquatics Summer Spectacular that was hosted at the University of Notre Dame. Many fast swims were done, including a new team record for Payton Dunn in the 800 Meter Free. She broke a record that had stood since 1990! Also, achieving new AAA times were Payton Dunn, Benjamin Edwards, Andrew O’Brien and Drew Willmann. While this wasn’t a meet where scores were announced, CSP did score more points than the rest of the teams in attendance. We had numerous compliments from the staff at Notre Dame with how well our kids were doing, which as a coach is always nice to hear.
