Special Thanks to all of you who contributed to last year's Swim-A-Thon. We finished the year ranked in the Top 10 Nationally, finishing in 7th place. Each year our Team has increased our fundraising total. We look forward to trying to move into the Top 5 next year. We will run our Swim-A-Thon in January again this year. We have taken our 2014 - 2015 Short Course Meet Schedule and set it up so that you may view each by your swimmer's groups.  Our first two meets have already been finalized and sent and we have record numbers already for this time of year.  Make sure to get your swimmers signed up for meets that we feel are geared towards their group levels.  If you can't view the document, click here. 1

Gabby Vieira made the Top 10 list for USA Swimming for the 16 year old Girl's 50 Meter Butterfly. Gabby ranked 7th in the Nation following her 3rd Place finish at the Summer NCSA Junior National Championships in August. Congratulations to Gabby on such a great achievement!   

DONUT SOCIAL & TEAM PHOTO IS THIS SATURDAY! We will hold our annual Donut Social/Team Photo and General Parent Meeting this Saturday, September 13th at WESTMINSTER CHRISTIAN ACADEMY from 8:00-9:00 am.  We will be meeting on the upper area behind the football bleachers, so please park in the lots nearest the football fields, in the front of the schoo, as the pool will be closed. Ashley Daniels, Sarah Finlay, Luke Sloan (2), and Lydia Welty were all named to the 2013-2014 USA Swimming Scholastic All-American List. For Luke it is his second straight year making the list.  To qualify to make the list you have to have completed your sophmore year of high school, have a 3.5 or higher GPA, and you must have swam a qualifying time in one of the qualifying strokes and distances. Congratulations to Ashley, Sarah, Luke and Lydia on achieving such a Great Honor!

IMX and IMR is a motivational program, through USA Swimming, that allows swimmers across the nation to compare themselves to the thousands of other athletes in their age group.  All your swimmer must do is swim a combination of events, at least one time per season, and USA Swimming automatically gives you your ranking. This past season, the Tideriders had 59 athletes achieve an IMX (IM Extreme) score Long Course for the summer.  In order to do this, a swimmer must have swum the following events: 10 & Under          100...

The CSP Tideriders rolled this past season wrapping up both the Short Course and Long Course Virtual Club Championship titles for the Ozark LSC. Colleen Young is competing for the USA this week at the 2014 Pan Pacific Para Championships in Pasadena, California. Colleen is having a great meet. Colleen has won several medals at the competition. Winning a Gold in the 100 Back and 100 Breast, Silver in both the 400 Free and 200 IM, and a Bronze in the 50 Free. Saving the best for last Colleen won the 100 Breast breaking her own American Record with a 1:19.23. Congratulations to Colleen!
