Long Course Champs Meet Wrap

What a great weekend we had at the Long Course Championship Meet.  While we took a small group to the meet, those swimmers performed amazingly!  As a team, the Tideriders finished strong in fourth place.

               The 13 – 14 Boys 800 Free Relay of Matthew Hillmer, Alex Benduski, Michael Raskin and Jack Bodnar

               shattered our team record by over 20 seconds! 

               Payton Dunn was third place High Point in the 11 – 12 Girls!

               Margaret Beimdiek, Max Kostelac and Kaitlyn Rowbottom all qualified for Zones!

               Meaghan Cannon and Payton Dunn added more events to their Zones list!

               10 & Under Boys won their Age Group, while the 10 & Under Girls finished in a close 2^nd!

Winning individual events were Anna Scott Baur, Eric Ji and Drew Willmann. 

Placing in the Top 8 were Nolan Alper-Esko, Lauren Beard, Nicole Beard, Margaret Beimdiek, Colin Burke, Meaghan Cannon, Sarah Donohue, Payton Dunn, Maya Esparza, Alex Fox, Sophie Fredman, Aaron Garner, Matthew Hillmer, Christina Jurotich, Katie Knapp, Taylor Korte, Max Kostelac, Catherine Liao, Lee Naber, Cami Nourie, Michael Raskin, Megan Ross, Kaitlyn Rowbottom, Wil Welch and Graham Zucker.

Finishing in the Top 16 were Koji Barrette, Alex Benduski, Jack Bodnar, Claire Brouillet, Madeleine Collier, Sammie Esparza, Benjamin Evra, Matthew Graham, Madigan Kinsey, Hutton Murdoch, Sam Porter, Elisabeth Ragan, Andrew Smock and Francesca Westendorf.

Also swimming at the Long Course Championship Meet were Nicole Alper-Esko, Meghan Bryan, Audrey Dino, Nathan Lin, Cameron McCrary, Lily Ragan and Michael Tu.

In the 800 Free Relays, Christina, Cami, Katie and Megan finished 3^rd for the 13 – 14 Girls, while Matthew, Alex, Michael and Jack were 2^nd. 

In the 200 Medley Relays, Maya, Anna Scott, Catherine and Sarah were 2^nd and Margaret, Amelia Dino, Francesca and Sammie were 6^th for the 10 & Under Girls, while Lee, Eric, Graham and Andrew were 2^nd for the Boys.

In the 400 Medley Relays, Taylor, Alex, Katie and Christina were 3^rd and Claire, Megan, Nicole and Cami were 7^th for the 13 – 14 Girls.  The 13 – 14 Boys team of Matthew, Michael, Alex and Jack were 6^th, while Aaron, Wil, Matthew and Sam were 8^th.  For the 11 – 12 Girls, Meaghan, Lauren, Kaitlyn and Madeleine were 3^rd, while the Boys Team of Hutton, Benjamin, Drew and Koji also finished in 3^rd.

In the 200 Free Relays, Sarah, Maya, Catherine and Anna Scott were 2^nd and Margaret, Francesca, Sammie and Amelia were 5^th for the 10 & Under Girls, while the Boys team of Andrew, Eric, Lee and Graham also finished in 2^nd place.

In the 400 Free Relays, Christina, Megan, Cami and Claire were 3^rd while Katie, Nicole, Alex and Riley Deutsch finished in 7^th for the 13 – 14 Girls.  The 13 – 14 Boys team of Matthew, Wil, Jack and Alex were 4^th, while Michael, Matthew, Aaron and Sam were 7^th.  The 11 – 12 Girls team of Meaghan, Madeleine, Elisabeth and Lauren were 4^th, while Kaitlyn, Sophie, Amelia Koch and Meghan were 8^th.
