Kledi Kadiu was awarded the Bill Karasick Memorial Award as the best swimmer of the meet.  This is based on...

We had a large group of swimmers brave the elements this weekend both inside and outside of the pool.  This is our annual Tri Meet, hosted by Southeastern Swim Club and attended by us and the Oakland Live Y’ers from Detroit, Michigan.  It’s a great opportunity for swimmers to do a prelim final meet prior to the Championship Season that is just around the corner.  There was a new Team Record set by Lily Hsieh in the 11 – 12 Girls 50 Fly.  Sophie Henriksen qualified for NCSA Junior Nationals...

This past weekend we went to visit the Kirkwood Pool for the first time, and other than battling the parking and the cold walk to the crash area, the meet went well and we saw a number of fast swimming done by the Tideriders! This meet had three separate sections of it all wrapped in to one.  Day one were the IM’s, 100 IM, 200 IM and 400 IM. Day 2 was a quadathlon, where swimmers who competed in the 4 25’s, 4 50’s, 4 100’s or 4 200’s had...

The Ozark A Championships was a record setting weekend for the CSP Tideriders.  The team had a target on them all weekend, but still, we ended the meet winning our 5th straight Ozark A Championship.  As we told the kids at the meet, we are the only team to win it 3 times in a row, 4 times in a row and now 5 times in a row. The Records were falling all weekend long.  CSP 11 – 12 Girls set a new Ozark Record in the 400 Medley Relay...

We had a great start of season with the IMX Kickoff hosted at Lindbergh High School this past weekend.  Even with a power outage, there was no shortage of fast racing by the Tideriders.  Kledi Kadiu set a new 13 – 14 Boys Team Record in the 50 Fly, leading off his 200 IM! This meet was an opportunity for swimmers to either establish their IMX (IM Extreme) Scores or IMR (IM Ready) Scores for the season, and we had a number of swimmers win those events. For the 10...
