The Mile Meet was a great meet this past weekend. We had more than 60 swimmers competing in the distance races, where swimmers got times for their 500, 1000 and 1650 Free. The races that morning netted the team about 15,000 Virtual Club Championship Points and got swimmers times in those races that they had not yet had a chance to compete. We had 14 swimmers swimming the mile for the first time and 22 swimmers getting a time for their first 1000 Free. There was one Team Record set...
CSP Hosts two meets a year, and our second meet of the year, the CSP Sprint Your Own Age was a huge success! CSP continues to break Ozark and Team Records, while also having fantastic performances by our team. Big Thanks to our outstanding Meet Directors, Karen Briers and Amanda Dieckhaus as well as our Meet Referee for this Meet, Tania Hillmer. You guys were amazing! This meet is unique in the way that for 14 & Under swimmers, they are competing against swimmers that are of the same age....
CSP had many outstanding performances at this past weekend’s FAST IMX Kick Off. Kledi Kadiu continued breaking records with an Ozark Record performance in the 13 – 14 Boys 200 Breast and new Team Records in the 13 – 14 Boys 100 Butterfly and 200 IM. This meet is different than most, meaning that the main focus is no swimmers trying to achieve their IMX Scores, which means for 10 & Under swimmers, they must complete the 200 Free and 200 IM, as well as the 100 Fly, Back and...

We had a large group of swimmers brave the elements this weekend both inside and outside of the pool. This is our annual Tri Meet, hosted by Southeastern Swim Club and attended by us and the Oakland Live Y’ers from Detroit, Michigan. It’s a great opportunity for swimmers to do a prelim final meet prior to the Championship Season that is just around the corner. This past weekend we went to visit the Kirkwood Pool for the first time, and other than battling the parking and the cold walk to the crash area, the meet went well and we saw a number of fast swimming done by the Tideriders! This meet had three separate sections of it all wrapped in to one. Day one were the IM’s, 100 IM, 200 IM and 400 IM. Day 2 was a quadathlon, where swimmers who competed in the 4 25’s, 4 50’s, 4 100’s or 4 200’s had...
The Ozark A Championships was a record setting weekend for the CSP Tideriders. The team had a target on them all weekend, but still, we ended the meet winning our 5th straight Ozark A Championship. As we told the kids at the meet, we are the only team to win it 3 times in a row, 4 times in a row and now 5 times in a row. The Records were falling all weekend long. CSP 11 – 12 Girls set a new Ozark Record in the 400 Medley Relay...
