Over the weekend, CSP traveled to Evansville, Indiana for the Gold Medal Swim Academy (GMSA) Fall Festival Faceoff. CSP took over 170 swimmers to the meet to take on Excel Aquatics whom are based out of Brentwood, Tennessee. Kayla Wahl, a member of our Elite Group and a Senior at Cor Jesu Academy, has made her verbal commitment to Marquette University. Marquette is a private Jesuit research university in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Kayla will join the Golden Eagles in the Fall of 2026. Three of our Elite group Seniors have made their college commitment decisions. They are: Charlotte Brown, a Senior at Villa Duchesne High School, has made her verbal commitment to Emory Univerisity. CSP Tideriders kicked off the 2025-2026 short course season this past weekend with a successful meet in Cape Girardeau. More than 150 swimmers represented our team, showcasing great energy and enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see everyone back in action, racing hard, and welcoming new faces to our program. Sydney Schoeck, a member of our Elite Group, has been named to the 2025/2026 National Junior Team. This marks the 2nd straight year Sydney has been selected. Sydney also qualified in 4 events, which tied her with 2 other female swimmers for the most events. Sydney qualified in the 200 Back, 400 IM, 800 Free and 1500 Free. IMX/IMR for the 2024 – 2025 Season was a banner season for the CSP Tideriders. USA Swimming automatically tabulates scores for IMX (IM Extreme) and IMR (IM Ready) for both Short Course and Long Course Seasons. For the Short Course Season, those swimmers with scores for IMX were 194 (one more than the previous season). CSP Tideriders sent 39 athletes (most in Ozark) and three coaches to the 2025 Central Zone 14 & Under Championship.
