Maddie Wall is in Phoenix, Arizona this weekend for the USA Swimming Safety Education Committee meeting. Maddie is an athlete representitive for this National Committee for USA Swimming. Maddie was nominated 2 years ago as an Athlete Rep to Ozark Swimmings Board. Maddie has worked hard to advance from an Ozark Athlete Rep to a National Committee Athlete Rep. Patriot Aquatic Club Winter Invitational We took a large group of swimmers to the Patriot Aquatic Club Winter Invitational over the weekend and CSP impressed! Chicago was cold and had snow on the ground, but that didn’t stop CSP from swimming fast. As a team, CSP finished second in the meet, only behind the host team PAC. Ozark A Championships Congratulations to the CSP Tideriders on a record breaking performance at this past weekend’s Ozark A Championships, held in Carbondale, Ill. CSP swimmers broke numerous records, earned many new Sectional Cuts and achieved over 70% best times as a team. The first in a series of Grand Prix meets held by USA Swimming took place this weekend at the University of Minnesota. This is the second year CSP swimmers competed in the meet. This years meet taking place in less than a year from the Olympic Games was attended by many of the World's greatest swimmers. HEAT Swimming’s Fall Classic What a busy meet weekend we had! We had over 200 swimmers, 13 coaches, and too many places to be. While swimmers were competing at Lafayette, we also had coaches splitting time between the meet and the USA Swimming Conference that was in town. We had two very successful intra squad meets last week! Thanks to the officials who came to help run the meet and thanks to the parents who helped time. Without all of you we could not run these meets. We held a meet on Wednesday night for the Age Group, Advance Stroke, Junior Varsity, Competitive Prep, Varsity and Senior swimmers where the object was to "Get Your A." The first meet of the year was outstanding and the Tideriders made a great showing! Congrats to all who attended this meet. Our entry was one of the biggest we have ever sent to a meet, having 184 swimmers sign up to attend this meet.
