  Congratulations to all the CSP athletes that competed this weekend at the Boilermaker Aquatics Early Bird Senior Invite at Purdue University. It was a nice weekend with some very good competition. One team record was set this weekend by Will Derdeyn who broke the Open 100 meter Fly record with a 56.34. The top 24 swimmers made it back to finals this weekend. 2012 Saluki International CSP had a great kick off to the Long Course Season at the Saluki International.  We had more athletes at this meet than any other team entered and our kids did outstanding. Overall, winning events were Justin Andrews, Nancy Hulslander, Rachel Kokenyesi, Nicole Maurer and Madison Qualy.   Taylor Maurer placed 35th in the 5K swim at the USA Swimming Open Water National Championships held yesterday, Sunday April 29th, at Miromar Lake in Fort Myers, Florida. This is the second year Taylor has qualified and swum this event. Congratulations to Taylor.

Congratulations to the 8 & Unders of the CSP Tideriders.  They won the 8 & Under Championship once again.  The coaches were very proud of how well the kids competed.  The CSP Sectional Team is just returning from Spring Sectionals at the new Jenks Aquatic Center in Jenks, Oklahoma. The Team placed 5th overall and the Women's Team bringing home a trophy for 3rd place. More than 40 teams from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Southern Illinois, and Iowa took part in the meet. CSP Wins the Sportsmanship Award at Ozark Champs Ozark Team Sportsmanship Award is presented to the team which displays the best sportsmanship, team support, positive attitudes, and has the best team appearance.  This award is voted upon by the coaches and teams attending the meet.  Obviously, CSP stood out above the rest and we couldn’t be more proud of the job that the athletes did.   CSP’s fourth place finish at Division I doesn’t begin to show the progress and steps we have made as a team moving forward.  CSP...

We hosted our Sprint Intra Squad meet last week and had a great turn out.  We had more than 120 athletes from Age Group, Competitie Prep, Junior Varsity, Varsity and Senior.  It was a great event.  We also recognized those swimmers who completed all of the 10 Days of Torture.  Congrats to all who participated.
