CSP Tideriders won their eighth consecutive Ozark Division I Championship. We had over 144 swimmers attend the meet. That is the highest number CSP has brought to the meet! 24 swimmers more than last year. We had over 140 swimmers participate in the PKWY Be My Valentine meet this past weekend. A number of swimmers picked up more “BB” Time Standards for Division I’s and new swimmers with their first ever “BB” time! We had over 140 swimmers participate in the FAST Last Chance meet this past weekend. This is always a great meet for swimmers that haven’t done meets in a while and for swimmers chasing after those “BB” Time Standards to qualify for Division I Championships. CSP Tideriders had over 140 swimmers that traveled to Indy to compete in the SSC MLK Invite where they competed against Southeastern Swim Club (IN) and Oly Swimming (MI). Indie Layton got her first sectional cut coming in the 100 Breast. Austin Chu broke the Team Record for the Boys 13-14 400 IM. Sydney Schoeck broke the pool record in the Girls 500 Free. Hannah Renaud, a member of our Elite Group and a Junior at Westminster Christian Academy, has given her verbal commitment to the University of Kansas. The University of Kansas is a public research university located in Lawrence, Kansas. Hannah will join the Jayhawks in the Fall of 2026. Asher Cole, a member of the Elite Group and a Senior at Lafayette High School, has made his verbal commitment to Denison University. Denison is a private liberal arts college located in Granville, Ohio. Asher will join the Big Red in the Fall of 2025. Congratulations to the 142 athletes who traveled to Carbondale, Illinois this past weekend and contributed to CSP winning this meet for the 11th time in a row. USA Swimming just released their list for the 2023/2024 Scholastic All-American Team. CSP had 10 out of the 17 athletes from Ozark to make the list. To be on the Scholastic All-American list you must be in high school, have 3.5 or higher GPA, and have a winter Junior National cut.
