CSP Tideriders sent 39 athletes (most in Ozark) and three coaches to the 2025 Central Zone 14 & Under Championship. On Day 1 of the USA Junior Nationals meet in Irvine, California Sydney Schoeck competes in the 800 Meter Free and takes 4th place. Her time of 8:41.91 is a new personal best. CSP sends 30 athletes to NCSA Junior Nationals in Huntsville, Alabama this past week. The group did a great job at the meet. We finished in 8th place as a combined Team. The Women finished in 6th place and our Men finished in 16th. This year’s Ozark Long Course Champs was the 7th win in a row for this meet for the CSP Tideriders. Very seldom can a team win a meet more than 6 years in a row, so this is quite an accomplishment. CSP was the only team to be able to fill out all relays in all age groups, with some age groups even filling in extra relays. CSP Had 51 athletes attend this Summer’s Sectional Championships held at the University of Missouri this past week. Despite having many of our athletes just swimming in one or two days of the meet we placed 4th as a team. The Girl’s took home the 3rd place trophy and the Boy’s ended up 7th. The 87th CSP Summer Invitational was another huge success. This is the 2nd longest running meet in USA Swimming, and the coaches spent many hours leading up, during and after the meet. From just doing entries for CSP, taking entries from other teams, scheduling workers, setting up every morning and shutting down every night, and of course working with all of our swimmers during the meet, the coaches wore many hats this past weekend. This past week, CSP sent 12 swimmers to Open Water Zones in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and the results were amazing! Eight out of the 10 Ozark swimmers that placed in the Top 8 were Lexi Cook was 1st, Noel Rice was 5th and Nina Schuerer was 8th for the Girls in the 5K, while Keegan Brown was 8th for the Boys 5K. Sydney Schoeck, a member of our Elite Group, competed this past week at USA Swimming Nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana. This meet was a World Champ trials meet. Sydney performed great, becoming the fastest swimmmer ever in the 800 Free and 400 IM for Ozark Swimming. She had several finals swims.
