148 CSP Tideriders swimmers attended the meet this past weekend at Mizzou. This meet was the CSC Jim Devine Memorial Invitational that had 37 teams from 6 different LSCs including Ozark, Missouri Valley, Midwestern, Arkansas, Illinois and Iowa. Ashlyn Canale, a member of our Elite Group and a Senior at Visitation Academy (VIZ), has given her verbal commitment to Butler University. With nearly 300 swimmers attending the RPLX Fall Festival meet, the CSP Tideriders didn’t skip a beat from having a great first meet last weekend. Sydney Schoeck a member of our Elite Group and a Junior at Westminster Christian Academy has given her verbal commitment to the University of Texas. After being back in the water for about 5 weeks, the CSP Tideriders attended the Evansville Winter Kickstarter meet over the weekend and made a big splash! We had 98 swimmers attending the meet and it was a great start to the season. Sydney Schoeck, a member of our Elite Group, has been named to the USA Swimming 2024/2025 National Junior Team. IMX/IMR for the 2023-2024 Season was a banner season for the CSP Tideriders. USA Swimming automatically tabulates scores for IMX (IM Extreme) and IMR (IM Ready) for both Short Course and Long Course Seasons. For the Short Course Season, those swimmers with scores for IMX were 193. This means that swimmers who were 10 & Under were 200 Free and IM, 100 Fly, Back, and Breast. CSP has once again been ranked as the Top Team in USA Swiming Virtual Club Championship. This is a measure that USA Swimming has that gives teams points based on their Top 2 swimmers in each age group. In the Short Course Season, CSP was again the Top Team in Ozark, while 4th in the Central Zone and 23rd Nationally. In Ozark, the next closest swim team was ranked 113th.
