Jordan Cooper recently competed in the 2009 CanAm games and based on her excellent performances she was selected to be a member of the USA Youth Parapan American GamesSwim Team. Jordan placed first in the 50 and 100 meter Breaststrokes, 1st in the 100 Backstroke, and 3rd in the 50 meter Freestyle. She will represent the USA at the 2009 Youth Parapan American Games October 5th through the 25th in Bogota, Columbia. Congratulations Jordan on this tremendous accomplishment your coaches and team are very proud of  you.

Scott Jostes representing Long Horn Aquatics (University of Texas), Bennett Clark representing Cal (University of California Berkeley) and Cassie Luhrsen Indiana University have been competing at the USA World Championship Trials this week in Indianapolis, Indiana. All three swimmers are long time CSP athletes and all swimmers are posting personal best times. Scott placed 16th in the 200 Free and 18th in the 100 Free. The first day of summer is now officially here.  Age Group, Junior Varsity, Competitive Prep, and Varsity all began their official summer schedule today.  We had a great turn out from all of the groups and only lost two swimmers to the "cold" water.  There are still a couple of swimmers in school and we look forward to seeing them soon, but we did have one swimmer get practice in this morning and then head off to school.  Is that dedication or what!  We look forward to seeing you all...

 We have once again been named a Silver Medal Club by USA Swimming. The Top 100 Clubs in the Nation receive this distinction. This marks the 7th Straight year our Club has received this honor since the Club Excellance program began in 2003. We are the only club locally to receive no worse than Silver Medal Status each year the program has been in existance.   It is finally here. Daniel Miller through his performances last summer was named to the 2009 USA Men’s National Youth Team and the competition for him to represent the USA starts tomorrow, Friday May 21st, and goes through the weekend. Daniel will be competing in Vancouver, Canada at the 2009 Mel Zajac Jr International Swim Meet. Daniel will compete in the 100, 200, 400 Freestyles and the 50, 100, and 200 Fly events. The St. Louis Post Dispatch just came out with the All Metro Swimming teams based on this year’s Missouri State Girl’s High School Swimming Championships. CSP did very well in the selections. First Team swimmers were Annie Goessling freshman at MICDS and Etinosa Ogbevoen freshman at Ladue. Second Team swimmers were Maddie Wall freshman at Ladue, Lanie Jochens senior at St. Joe’s, and Morgan Mullenix freshman at Villa. The Wiese Brothers used their Coach of the Day priviledge that they won at the CSP Trivia Night and Auction last night.
