We would like to congratulate one of our athletes for some accomplishments and honors that she has earned this past year. Last year Colleen participated in a meet in Greece representing the United States. This past spring at Nationals, she won the 200 Breast, and was just recently informed that the time she went in that event was fast enough to earn her a spot on the USA National Team. At the Trivia Night a couple of weeks ago we had two swimmers who won the chance to be "Coach for the Day." 8 & Under Champs The CSP Tideriders have once again captured both the 8 & Under Girls and 8 & Under Boys Ozark Championship this past weekend. This past weekend CSP’s Elite group participated in the Central Sectional Region VIII Championships in Oklahoma City. The Central Sectional Championships is a senior championship meet for swimmers in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Southern Illinois, Oklahoma and Arkansas. CSP was represented by 38 athletes who all did an exceptional job. The CSP team placed 4th overall, with the women’s team placing 5th and the men’s team placing 7th. CSP Finishes 4th at Ozark Champs Congratulations to the CSP Tideriders on their 4th place finish at last weekend’s Ozark Division I Champs! Kyle Shurmur finished in 2nd place for the 13 – 14 Boys while Sarah Finaly finished in 3rd place for the 13 – 14 Girls High Point. Congratulations to all the CSP girls that represented their high schools at the 2011 Missouri State Swimming Championships this past weekend at the St. Peters Rec-Plex. CSP was well represented as the girls all swam fast and did a great job. Many of the best relay splits were from swimmers on our team as well with the top 4 100 Free relay splits coming from CSP athletes. 5 athletes in the Elite group represented CSP at the Missouri Grand Prix Meet this weekend. Tim Benage, Alex Glogoza, Elizabeth Krane, Easton Noble, and Nate Weiss all swam hard and represented CSP well. The Grand Prix series visits several locations each year and has many world class athletes competing at the meets. This weekend's meet had Gold Medal and World Record athletes which included Rebecca Soni, Fred Bousquet, Ricky Berens, Ous Mellouli, etc... These meets give our athletes a great chance to be exposed to the next level...
