CSP Wins Division II Champs

CSP Tideriders Division II Champions!

CSP won the very first ever Ozark Division II Championship Meet!  This meet was prelim final meet with prelims being held at both Lafayette High School as well as Lindbergh High School, with Finals being held at Lindbergh High School.  Our athletes did a fantastic job both individually and as a team with Relays. 

Our swimmers did well in the Medley Relays:

10 & Under Girls had one relay score in the Top 8, and three relays score in the Top 16; 10 & Under Boys had two relays score in the Top 8; 11 – 12 Girls had three relays score in the Top 8 and two more score in the Top 16; 11 – 12 Boys had one relay score in the Top 8; 13 – 14 Girls had one relay score in the Top 8 and one relay score in the Top 16; 13 – 14 Boys had three relays score in the Top 8.

In the Free Relays, CSP shined:

10 & Under Girls won their relay, while placing one more in the Top 8 and another in the Top 16; 10 & Under Boys won their relay and placed another in the Top 18; 11 – 12 Girls won their relay and placed three more in the Top 8 and one in the Top 16; 11 – 12 Boys placed a relay in the Top 8; 13 – 14 Girls won their relay and placed one more in the Top 8 and two more in the Top 16; 13 – 14 Boys won their relay and placed one more in the Top 8.

Swimming in the Top 8 were Michaela Bach, Nicole Beard, Max Bernstein, Jack Bodnar, Katie Brodersen, Natalie Crocker, Lexi Daniels, Benjamin Edwards, Grace Fesler, Aaron Garner, Peri George, Samantha Gill, Max Goldenberg, Eric Graham, Matthew Graham, Nancy Hulslander, Elizabeth Jackson, Katie Jackson, Vaios Kouvelis, Megan Malloy, Evie Mauze, Alex Miller, Greta Nagy, Willa Nagy, Michael Nester, Cami Nourie, Mary Katherine O’Leary, Abbey Owenby, Anna Reichert, Nicholas Reichert, Collin Schott, Nicole Shearing, Steven Shearing, Jake Varela and Tyler Waterman.

Swimming in the Top 16 were Lizzie Baker, Lindsey Bennett, Emerson Brazile, Laura Carmody, Rebecca Crane, Peter Crocker, Ben Evra, Avery Fredman, Morgan Garner, Megan Lenzen, Lena Liang, Sophia Marusic, Melissa Melnick, Michael Raskin, Samantha Shively, Dani Skor, Elizabeth Wiese, Daniel Wiese, William Young and Yifu Zhu.

Also competing at the Division II Championship Meet were Sophie Allen, Brigid Andrews, Samantha Bale, Lauren Beard, Dixon Bezzant, Harriett Bezzant, Sophie Breitmeyer, Meghan Bryan, Rachel Crane, Caroline Davis, Charlie Eversman, Jillian Franks, Sophia Fredman, Sophia Garland, Katherine Gelfand, Carlye Goldenberg, Elaina Grimm, Harriett Hudspeth, Alexa Kouvelis, Kat Kramer, Andrew Litteken, Ryan Lutker, Erin McKenzie, Kristen McKenzie, Molly Nikkel, Megan Ross, Caroline Thomason, Anna Vidlak and Lyon Wrobley.

There was also an Open Age Group that was also prelims finals for swimmers who were faster than “A” times in their Age Group, or outside of the 14 & Under Age Group.

Placing first in the Open Age Group was Luke Sloan, while Elliott Barnes, Megan Crenshaw, Lexi Daniels, Jack Finlay, Ellie George, Audrey Kelly, Garrett Knasel, Hunter Mehring, Mason Meine, Melissa Melnick, Easton Noble, Will O’Shea and Claire Rater all placed in the Top 8. 

Swimming in the Top 16 were Michael Alberici, Erin Kelly and Chris Beckman. 

Also competing at this meet were Gus Eversman, Max Eversman, Mary Kate Hoerr, Destry Newton, Bryan O’Leary, Jay Prapaisilp, Bradley Riew and Nicholas Whitehead.  In the Open Boys Relays, the Medley relays had two relays place in the Top 8 and one in the Top 16, while in the Free Relays they placed one in the top 8 and two in the Top 16.
