Evan Noble receives Ernie Vornbrock Award for 2nd Straight Year

Each year a male and female swimmer of the year is chosen for the Ozark LSC. For the second straight year Evan Noble has been chosen as male swimmer of the year. Evan won the award after having a great year of swimming that included winning 5 of 6 events at Spring Sectionals and winning the Male High Point Award, representing the USA as a member of the National Youth Team in June in Barcelona, Spain, and winning the 200 IM at this past summer's Junior National Championships in Irvine, California from which he was chosen to the National Youth Team for a second year and named to the Junior Pan Pac Championships. The award was offered to the Ozark LSC 3 years ago, with all 3 years the award has been nominated and voted on going to a CSP athlete. Daniel Miller received the award 2 years ago. The first couple of years the award was given prior to Ozark taking it over it started as a Missouri State High School swimmer of the year with Scott Jostes a CSP swimmer now competing at the University of Texas winning the award.

The award is presented at the  Missouri Athletic Club's Jack Buck Sports Award Dinner that is held each December at the MAC. Congratualtions to Evan on receiving such a fine award.
