Our own Colleen Young, a member of the Elite group, just competed for the USA at the Parlympic World Championships in Montreal, Canada. Colleen won 3 medals at the Championships. She took Silvers in the 100 meter Breaststroke and the 100 meter Backstroke. She took Bronze in the 400 meter Free. Congratulations to Colleen on such a fantastic meet.  

Lexi Daniels broke a long standing team record in the 1500 Free for the 13 - 14 girls, and placed Top 8 in her 400 Free, 800 Free, 1500 Free, 200 IM and 400 IM.  She also placed in the Top 16 in the 200 Breast.  Lexi was also a part of two medley relays. During the past week CSP was represented by Justin Andrews, Samm Crocker, Rachel Kokenyesi, Melissa Melnich, Luke Sloan, and Lydia Welty at the NCSA Junior National Meet held at IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana. This group did an awesome job competing and representing CSP. One Team record was broken when Samm, Melissa, Lydia, and Rachel broke the Open Girls 200 Free Relay record. We couldn’t have had any more luck with the weather at Long Course Champs.  For the first time in a number of years this meet was hosted at an outdoor facility.  We took 52 athletes to Cape Girardeau and the kids did a great job.  Sarah Donohue broke the 8 & Under Girls 100 Free, while Madeleine Collier and Drew Willmann added more events to their swims for the Central Zones Championship!  Benjamin Edwards and Helen Wojdylo both earned new Sectional Cuts, and many other great times were achieved.  We...

We had a great turnout this morning for our "Don't Rain on my Event!" intrasquad meet.  We had swimmers from Age Group, JV, Competitve Prep, Varsity, Senior and Elite competing.  Lots of best times and numerous swimmers competed in events that they have never swam before.  Big thanks to Kim Weiss for coordinating our officials.  Thanks so much to Joanne Graham,  Tania Hillmer and Rob Jurotich for helping to officiate this meet.  Also thanks to Bill Hillmer for running the computer and thanks so much to all of the parents...

We had two swim meets the Fourth of July weekend and had many coaches going many different directions.  Our group that we took to the meet held at Notre Dame did an outstanding job.  It was so nice being at an indoor facility on the campus of Notre Dame.  Lots of fast swimming by CSP was done at this meet.  In fact, CSP took about 45 swimmers to the meet and came out on top!  We had a number of athletes placing in the Top 3 and winning their age...

What a crazy weekend the 75th Annual Summer Invitational was.  The meet ran incredibly smoothly as we had more teams, more athletes and more races than ever before.  Numerous meet records were broken at the meet and CSP did an outstanding job running a great event.   Congratulations to our Meet Directors to a very successful invitational!
