So while the meet shirts may have been a year early, the CSP Avengers Assembled as a team and took home the Tideriders first ever win at the Ozark A Champs that was held last weekend in Carbondale, Illinois. We had 111 entrants in to the meet this year, swimming over 540 individual events, and participating in 58 different relay swims. All of those numbers were considerably more than any other team entered in this year’s meet. Every swimmer, every race and every point made all the difference in the...
The Tideriders looked at the HEAT Fall Classic as a last chance meet for athletes to qualify for A Champs, and they didn’t disappoint. We picked up 26 new A times, as well as having three new swimmers qualifying for A Champs. We also had the most athletes that we have had a non CSP Hosted meet. Over 190 athletes signed up to swim at the Fall Classic, and every one of them represtented CSP proudly. We continue to look more and more uniformed. The kids are doing a great...

The past two Wednesday nights, CSP has hosted two different intra squad meets. Swimmers from most of the groups were in attendance and we had huge successes at both meets. We had two new team records set in the 8 & Unders. Congrats to Graham Zucker on breaking the 25 Fly and Sarah Donohue on breaking the 25 Back. We had a number of swimmers attaining their A times in time for the Championship Meet being held the end of the month. And we had a lot of our swimmers...
Senior and Elite Swimmers from CSP attended the Parkway Broken 400 IM on Wednesday night. The concept is that swimmers swim the 100 Fly, then the 100 Back, then 100 Breast and finally the 100 Free. After that, the times will be added to determine who has the fastest 400 IM. Lydia Welty won on the girl’s side of the competition while Christopher Reichert was 3rd for the boys. Placing in the Top 8 for the Girls were Rebecca Corzine, Maggie Cox and Helen Wojdylo. Natalie Crocker, Lexi Daniels, Sophia...
This entry was our largest entry of the year and included swimmers from almost every single group. What a great weekend with many great swims turned by everyone. Graham Zucker continued his assault on the team’s records by breaking both the 25 Back and 50 Back for the 8 & Under Boys. He is the first 8 & Under Boy to go under 17 seconds in the 25 back, and his 50 Back bettered the old team record by almost 2 full seconds. Big thanks to our CSP Officials who...
What a great meet to start our season for the CSP Tideriders!ý This meet is billed as an IMX Meet, which means that the swimmers are either trying to get an IMX score by swimming specific events.ý There is also an IM Ready portion of the meet, which is for athletes who are trying to get an IM Ready score by swimming a different set of specific events. To achieve an IMX score, 10 & Unders must have swam the 200 Free, 200 IM, and then the 100 of Fly,...
