To say that this year’s Sectional Meet was a glimpse in to future meets would be an understatement. After overcoming a rash of illnesses on Saturday, CSP came back to score more points than all teams on Sunday and moved up to finish in 4th place as a team! Sunday’s performance is indicative of what is on this young team’s horizon for future Sectional meets. The Girls also placed 4th overall while the Boys finished 9th. CSP took 48 athletes to the meet this year, which was the most of...
We did it! We once again hit and exceeded our Team’s Goal of $45,000. We surpassed last years amount by raising over $50,000 and there are still some funds coming in! JV was the Top Group, raising more than $10,000, while Elite broke $9,000 and both Varsity and Senior went above $8,000. Due to their efforts, all four groups have earned a pizza party! Check with your coaches on when that will be. Junior Varsity and Varsity were so close to 100% participation and earning the Ted Drew’s Ice Cream Party,...
The CSP Tideriders finished in First Place at this past weekends Ozark Senior Championship Meet. This is the start of the Championship Season, and it was a great way to get things rolling! Kledi Kadiu broke his own 100 Free for the 15 – 16 Boys. Audrey Dino (200 Back), Ned Mehmeti (400 IM) and Sophie Thompson (200 Back) all qualified for Sectionals. We had a number of swimmers add to their list of Sectional Cuts: Koji Barrette added 200 and 400 IM Lauren Beard added the 400 IM Jessica...
CSP went to the PKWY Winter Classic in strong numbers! The last meet of 2018 saw almost 200 Tideriders competing. This is a different meet from most as they run different tracks to determine who wins their age group. The 8 & Unders have 2 tracks, one of the swimmers swimming all 4 50’s and another where they swim all 4 25’s of each stroke. In the 25’s, Lily Steinmann was the Top Girl, while Emma Fouke, Ellis Halpert, Rosie Schneider and Ella Silverman all finished in the Top 10. ...
The CSP Tideriders went in to A Champs this past weekend and took the meet by a wide margin. Not only did the Tideriders win the meet, but we also scored the most points for the Girls side as well as the Boys side of the meet. For the Age Groups, CSP won both the 10 & Under Girls and Boys, the 11 – 12 Boys as well as the 13 – 14 Girls and Boys. We were second in the 11 – 12 Girls and 15 & Over Girls...
We had a great meet at the HEAT Fall Classic. We had a number of new A Times as well as some new Sectional Cuts. This is a great meet warm up leading up to the Ozark A Champs, and the team looked as strong as ever. We took more than 200 swimmers to this meet and many relays were won by the Tideriders. Our 8 & Under swimmers were fantastic. Winning events were John Boevingloh, Kathryn Carr, Austin Chu, Colin Cunneen and Lily Steinmann. Placing in the Top 8...
The Mile Meet was a great meet this past weekend. We had more than 60 swimmers competing in the distance races, where swimmers got times for their 500, 1000 and 1650 Free. The races that morning netted the team about 15,000 Virtual Club Championship Points and got swimmers times in those races that they had not yet had a chance to compete. We had 14 swimmers swimming the mile for the first time and 22 swimmers getting a time for their first 1000 Free. There was one Team Record set...
CSP Hosts two meets a year, and our second meet of the year, the CSP Sprint Your Own Age was a huge success! CSP continues to break Ozark and Team Records, while also having fantastic performances by our team. Big Thanks to our outstanding Meet Directors, Karen Briers and Amanda Dieckhaus as well as our Meet Referee for this Meet, Tania Hillmer. You guys were amazing! This meet is unique in the way that for 14 & Under swimmers, they are competing against swimmers that are of the same age....
CSP had many outstanding performances at this past weekend’s FAST IMX Kick Off. Kledi Kadiu continued breaking records with an Ozark Record performance in the 13 – 14 Boys 200 Breast and new Team Records in the 13 – 14 Boys 100 Butterfly and 200 IM. This meet is different than most, meaning that the main focus is no swimmers trying to achieve their IMX Scores, which means for 10 & Under swimmers, they must complete the 200 Free and 200 IM, as well as the 100 Fly, Back and...
The Beginner I & II, Developmental, Age Group and Advanced Stroke Swimmers all participated in the first CSP/FAST Dual meet this past weekend at Pattonville High School.
