Congratulations to Colleen Young for being selected to swim at a meet this summer in Athens, Greece.  Colleen participated in the U.S. Paralympics Spring Swimming Nationals/Spring Can-Am over spring break.  Colleen won the 200 Breast and she finished in 2nd place in the 100 Breast.  She finished 3rd in the 100 Free, 100 Back, and the 400 Free.  Her results at this meet has placed her in 2010 talent pool in anticipation for the 2012 London Paralympic Games!  http://usparalympics.org/pages/605 Colleen is by far the youngest member, in this group, from...

The University of Texas Longhorns are the 2010 Men's Division I National Swimming and Diving Champions and our own Scott Jostes was a valuable member of the team. Scott placed 5th in the 200 Free, 9th in the 100 Free, and 25th in the 500 Free. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch came out with their All Metro selections for the 2010 Girls High School Season. Maddie Wall a sophmore at Ladue High School was named to the First Team.  Annie Goessling a sophmore at MICDS and Etinosa Ogbevoen a sophmore at Ladue were named to the Second Team. While Masha Podokshik a freshman at MICDS was named to the Third Team. Congratulations to these girls and all the other CSP girls who represented their high school teams so well this past high school season.

This past weekend 30 swimmers from our Senior Elite group represented CSP at the 2010 Long Course Speedo Sectional Championships in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Our athletes did a great job and we finished in 3rd place overall. Our men placed 3rd as a team and our women were 6th as a team. Evan Noble defended his High Point Award from last year and won the award again this year. Evan won the 200 IM, 400 IM, 200 Free, 200 Fly, 100 Back and placed 2nd in the 100 Free. We...

At the 2010 Ozark Short Course Champs, the CSP Tideriders finished in 4th place out of 20 local swim clubs.  In individual Age Groups, CSP finished in the Top 3 in the 13 - 14 Girls, 13 - 14 Boys, and the 15 & Over Girls.  Overall we were very pleased with all performances turned in by the CSP Tideriders!  The team spirit showed during cheers, from the posters, and from everyone wearing their meet shirts.  Swimmers winning individual events were Easton Noble and Masha Podokshik. CSP was represented by Cody Adams and Evan Noble at this weekends Illinois Boys High School State Swimming and Diving Championships. Evan swam to 7th place in the 200 IM and a 4th place finish in the 100 Back. While Cody swam and placed 41st in the 100 Back. Congratulations to Cody and Evan on such good performances.
