CSP takes 3rd Place at Long Course Speedo Central Sectional Championships
This past weekend 30 swimmers from our Senior Elite group represented CSP at the 2010 Long Course Speedo Sectional Championships in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Our athletes did a great job and we finished in 3rd place overall. Our men placed 3rd as a team and our women were 6th as a team. Evan Noble defended his High Point Award from last year and won the award again this year. Evan won the 200 IM, 400 IM, 200 Free, 200 Fly, 100 Back and placed 2nd in the 100 Free. We had 5 athletes make the top 8 and medal for the first time. They were Tim Benage, Hadley Edwards, Alex Glogoza, Elizabeth Krane, and Maddie Wall. Annie Goessling and Evan Noble also had top 8 finishes. The top 24 athletes qualified for finals and here is a list of the athletes that accomplished this:

Women's A - 6th - Ogbevoen, Mullenix, Krane, and Wall
Women's B - 8th - Howard, Goessling, Qualy, and Podokshik
Men's A - 2nd - Noble, Glogoza, Sharp, and Benage
Men's B - 12th - Weiss, Adams, Destry Newton, and Wall
Other Athletes that competed very well for CSP included Chris Bach, Elliot Barnes, Meghan Glogoza, Easton Noble, Trey Ross, Michael Seifert, Allyson Shurmur, and Michael You.
