CSP finishes in 4th at Division I Champs

CSP Finishes 4^th at Ozark Champs

Congratulations to the CSP Tideriders on their 4^th place finish at last weekend’s Ozark Division I Champs!  Kyle Shurmur finished in 2^nd place for the 13 – 14 Boys while Sarah Finaly finished in 3^rd place for the 13 – 14 Girls High Point.  We had Top 3 finishes in the following age groups as well: 10 & Under Girls 3^rd, 11 – 12 Girls 2^nd, 13 – 14 Girls 3^rd, and 13 – 14 Boys 2^nd.  We were very proud of all of the spirit that CSP displayed during the meet.  The kids looked good and sounded good. 

In the 10 & Under Age Groups, finishing in the Top 8 were Michaela Bach, Jack Bodnar, Luyi Gao, Aaron Garner, Matthew Graham, Leda Liang, Abbey Owenby, Marissa Van Leuven, Jake Varela, and Nicholas White.  Placing in the Top 16 were Nicole Beard, Alex Fox, Avery Fredman, Nancy Hulslander, Alex Miller, and Willa Nagy.  In the Relays, the team finishe as follows:

200  Medley Relays – Girls – Nancy, Nicole, Alex, and Willa were 9^th.  Boys – Jake, Luyi, Matt, and Jack were 5^th, while Alex, Ben Evra, Avery, and Nicholas were 8^th. 

200 Free Relays – Girls – Leda, Marissa, Willa, and Abbey were 3^rd, Megan, Cami Nourie, Michaela, and Nancy were 9^th, and swimming exhibition were Rachel Crane, Lauren Beard, Nicole, and Lena Liang.  Boys – Jack, Jake, Matt, and Aaron were 4^th, while Ben, Luyi, Alex, and Nicholas were 7^th. 

Also competing in the 10 & Under Age Group were Margaux Ballet, Lindsey Bennett, Laura Carmody, Rebecca Crane, Andrew O’Brien, Megan Ross, Wil Welch, Elizabeth Wiese, Will Young, and Yifu Zhu.

In the 11 – 12 Age Group, finishing in the Top 8 were Tiger Chen, Rebecca Corzine, Lexi Daniels, Audrey Kelly, Erin Kelly, Melissa Melnick, Iyayi Ogbevoen, and Colleen Young.  Placing in the Top 16 were Elizabeth Barrett, Max Goldenberg, Sophia Marusic, and Greta Nagy.  In the Relays, the team finished as follows:

200 Medley Relay  – Girls – Audrey, Erin, Melissa and Rebecca 4^th, Elizabeth, Lexi, Sophia Garland and Greta 7^th, and on exhibition relays were Evie Mauze, Colleen, Peri George and Grace Fesler, Anna Reichert, Katie Jackson, Sophia and Natalie Crocker.  Boys – Iyayi, Tiger, Max and John Tschampel were 4^th. 

400 Medley Relay – Girls – Audrey, Colleen, Rebecca and Melissa were 5^th, while Evie, Erin, Peri and Lexi were 8^th.  Boys – Iyayi, Tiger, Eric Graham and Max were 6^th. 

200 Free Relay – Girls – Melissa, Audrey, Elizabeth and Erin were 4^th, Rebecca, Greta, Grace and Natalie were 7^th, and swimming exhibition were Evie, Sophia, Lexi and Anna.  Boys – Iyayi, Tiger, Max and John were 7^th. 

400 Free Relay – Girls – Audrey, Elizabeth, Lexi and Melissa were 2^nd, while Erin, Greta, Colleen and Rebecca were 8^th.  Boys – Iyayi, Tiger, Max, and Eric were 4^th. 

Also competing were Brigid Andrews, Katie Brodersen, Livi Helmer, Katie Jackson, Megan Lenzen, Evie Mauze, Nicole Shearing, and Julia Tackes.

In the 13 – 14 Age Group, winning individual events were Maggie Cox, Sarah Finlay, Kyle Shurmur, and Luke Sloan.  Finishing in the Top 8 were Nicole Maurer, Christopher Reichert, Gigi Rill, Danielle Sikora and Lydia Welty.  Placing in the Top 16 were Justin Andrews, Ashley Daniels, Justin Knasel, Ashley Reichert and Steven Shearing.  In the Relays, the team finished as follows:

200 Medley Relays – Girls – Ashley, Maggie, Lydia and Danielle were 4^th, while Samantha Gill, Elizabeth Jackson, Samantha Shively and Sophie Allen swam exhibition.  Boys – Kyle, Justin, Christopher and Charlie McKee were 6^th, Michael Nester, Nicholas Reichert, Steven and Tyler Waterman were 8^th, Collin Schott, Benjamin Edwards, Justin and Max Bernstein swam exhibition.

400 Medley Relays – Girls – Lydia, Maggie, Gigi and Danielle were 3^rd, and Jillian Franks, Ashley, Alex Dunn and Megan Malloy were 10^th.  Boys – Chris, Kyle, Luke and Justin were 2^nd, and Michael, Benjamin, Steven and Tyler were 7^th. 

200 Free Relays – Girls – Danielle, Maggie, Lydia and Megan were 3^rd, Gigi, Alex, Taylor White and Jillian were 10^th, and swimming exhibition were Samantha, Mary Rater, Katherine Gelfand and Ashley.  Boys – Luke, Kyle, Christopher and Justin were 2^nd, Tyler, Charlie, Max and Steven were 7^th, and swimming exhibition were Michael, Vaios Kouvelis, Peter Crocker and Nicholas.

400 Free Relays – Girls – Maggie, Danielle, Lydia and Gigi were 3^rd, while Ashley, Megan, Ashley and Taylor were 11^th.  Boys – Luke, Kyle, Christopher and Justin were 2^nd, while Tyler, Steven, Collin and Nicholas were 8^th. 

800 Free Relays – Girls – Maggie, Danielle, Ashley and Gigi were 5^th, while Lydia, Taylor, Megan and Ashley were 10^th.  Boys – Kyle, Christopher, Justin, and Justin were 5^th, while Nicholas, Collin, Steven and Michael were 8^th. 

Also competing in the 13 – 14 Age Group were Andrew Litteken and Dani Skor.
