  The first meet of the 2012 – 2013 Short Course Season was the FAST IMX Kickoff, and the CSP Tideriders were ready to perform.  We had 167 athletes compete at the meet.  That is one of our highest totals at a non CSP hosted meet!  As a team we had 76% best times, which is outstanding.  This meet is a different format than most meets.  They had two different categories running this meet.  The first category was the IMX Score, and to place in that you had to have...

CSP hosted it's first intra squad meet of the season last night for Age Group, JV, Varsity and Senior, and it was a huge success!  We had over 120 athletes compete in the 200 Free as well as the 200 IM.  As a team, CSP had over 83% best times, with a number of swimmers qualifying for either A Champs in November, or the 14 & Under Division I Champs being held in February.  Congratulations to those swimmers who swam the 200 Free and 200 IM as their first event(s)...

Congratulations to Annie Goessling, Taylor Maurer, Morgan Mullenix, Madison Qualy, and Maddie Wall for being named to the 2011-2012 USA Swimming Scholastic All-American Team. These 5 athletes had to be a sophomore or above in high school, have over a 3.5 GPA and meet the Junior National Bonus time standard for an event or compete in the USA Swimming Open Water Nationals.  Annie and Maddie are on the list for the 3rd straight year and will receive a special award for this achievement.   Today, September 8, Colleen raced in the 100 Breast and as the youngest Finalist in the group finished in a strong 5th place.  Only .22 out of third place.  Colleen finished her meet with another personal best time, going 1:21.72.  Kelly Becherer of the United States won the Bronze. On September 7, Colleen raced in the 200 IM and made the Finals.  Colleen swam a personal best time of 2:40.21.  Rachel Meyers and Kelly Becherer of the United States won the Silver and Bronze Medals. Colleen's races have begun and she is off to a great start. On September 1st, Colleen raced in the 50 Free and placed 12th over all, with a life time personal best time :30.57.  That event was won by American Kelly Becherer.  On September 2nd, Colleen raced in the 100 Free and placed 9th overall, just missing out of the Finals that evening.  Her 100 Free was also a life time personal best time, going 1:06.73.  That event was also won by American Kelly Becherer.
