Long Course Record Board Wrap Up
What an amazing Long Course Season the Tideriders have had this summer. We have updated our Long Course and our Short Course Record Boards on the web and there are a lot of huge accomplishments this season! In the 8 & Unders, Lily Hsieh set two new team records and placed highly in other events as well. Everdine Ferguson was also able to crack the Record Board for the Girls, while Aidan Brawer made it on for the Boys.
In the 10 & Unders, Madeleine Collier posted the 2nd fastest time for the 10 & Under Girls 100 Free and placed highly in many other events as well. Also making the list were Anna Scott Baur, Margaret Beimdiek, Sarah Donohue, Maya Esparza and Sophie Henriksen, for the Girls and Eric Ji, Lee Naber and Graham Zucker for the Boys.
In the 11 – 12 Year Olds, Payton Dunn set two new team records and set top times in many other events. Payton knocked our Executive Team Director Terry Varney Freerks out of three events! Andrew O’Brien and Drew Willmann both had events that were the 2nd fastest times ever for CSP, while placing highly in many other events. Also topping out in the Top 16 was Lauren Beard, Meaghan Cannon and Kaitlyn Rowbottom for the Girls and Koji Barrette, Benjamin Evra and Max Kostelac for the Boys.
In the 13 – 14 Age Group, Matthew Hillmer had two swims that were the 2nd fastest ever in team history, while placing highly in other events as well. Making it in to the Top 16 were Brigid Andrews, Peri George, Taylor Korte and Abbey Owenby, for the Girls and Aaron Garner for the Boys.
In the Open Age Group, many swimmers made the Top 24 and we had some new team records as well. Gabriela Vieira set the new team record for the 15 – 16 and Open Girls 100 Fly and Sarah Finlay set the new team record for the 17 – 18 year old Girls 200 Back! Making the Top 24 for the Girls were Brigid Andrews, Ashley Daniels, Lexi Daniels, Mikayla Kempf, Evie Mauze, Melissa Melnick, Abbey Owenby, Madison Qualy and Helen Wojdylo. On the Boys side, Justin Andrews, Benjamin Edwards, Matthew Hillmer, Michael Nester, Christopher Reichert, Collin Schott and Luke Sloan all made the Top 24!
