CSP Tideriders rise above at Jim Devine Invite
148 CSP Tideriders swimmers attended the meet this past weekend at Mizzou. This meet was the CSC Jim Devine Memorial Invitational that had 37 teams from 6 different LSCs including Ozark, Missouri Valley, Midwestern, Arkansas, Illinois and Iowa. This is always a great meet to go up against swimmers from other LSCs right before a championship meet and CSP did fantastic with the challenge.
ELITE GROUP: The Elite group came into this meet; records and cuts were a big part of their triumph this weekend. There were 2 Team Records, Sydney Schoeck (15-16 Girls, 400 IM) and Hannah Renaud (15-16 Girls & Open Girls, 200 fly). Lexi Cook got her Winter Junior National Cut in the 1000 Free. There were 8 new NCSA cuts, Lexi (100 Free, 200 Free & 500 Free), Anna Grace Guenther (500 Free), Hannah (500 Free), Asher Cole (200 Free), Emma Fouke (200 IM) and Noel Rice (100 Back). There were also 8 new Sectional cuts, Noel (50 Free), Kayla Wahl (100 Fly), Emma Welch (400 IM), Anna Grace (400 IM), Aubrey Yancey (200 Fly), Kinleigh Neville (50 Free & 100 Fly), and Emma (500 Free).
There were 4 meet records this past weekend, Ramsey Wishy broke the 11-12 100 Breast meet record. Relay teams of Ellie Jones, Paige Haug, Indie Layton and Annabelle Crall broke the 11-12 200 Medley Relay meet record. Boardie Fouke, Chapman Wishy, Leo Loveland and Deon Saunders broke the 10&Under 200 Medley Relay meet record. And the 11-12 Boys relay team of Luke Loveland, Ramsey, Tommy Melly and Dhathri Kolli crushed the 200 Medley Relay meet record.
For the 8&Under Age Group, Finishing in the Top 8 was Thomas Brinton.
For the 10&Under Age Group, winning events were Boardie and Chapman. Finishing in the Top 8 were Logan Ackenhausen, Harper Chism, Vihaan Deore, Gianluca Dohm, Anika Goettel, Sloane Langdon, Leo, Deon, Emerson Schneider and Ben Ward. Finishing in the Top 16 were Yusif Aghayev, Alexa Brinton, Dylan Deahn, Dasha Duncan, Bernie Hill and Arabella Mohart. Also swimming in the meet were Neve Agustin, Quinn Haug, Sloane Jacoby, Dhruv Rohatgi and Edie Spitzfaden.
10&Under 200 Medley Relay - Anika, Sloane, Emerson and Neve (2nd), Alexa, Dasha, Arabella and Quinn (6th). Leo, Chapman, Deon and Boardie (1st), Gianluca, Vihaan, Logan and Ben (2nd).
10&Under 200 Free Relay - Sloane, Emerson, Anika and Harper (3rd), Arabella, Bernie, Neve and Dasha (5th), Boardie, Chapman, Deon and Leo (1st), Logan, Ben, Vihaan and Dylan (2nd).
Within the 11-12 Age Group, winning events were Paige, Indie and Ramsey. Finishing in the Top 8 were Annabelle, Gavin Heeb, Ellie, Amelia Kirsten, Dhathri, Luke, Tommy, Lucy Meyer and Audrey Moore. Finishing in the Top 16 were Timmy Chen, Camryn Costello, Alexandra Granier, Calvin Hyland, Parker Robic, Lucas Theodos, Morgan Victor, Nicholas Zagromov and Finn Ziolkowski. Also swimming in the meet were Amelie Bariteau, Nathan Chen, Libby Cole, Greer Dalrymple, Thomas Donaldson, Charlotte Herbst, Tucker House, Connor Kraft, Mason Meconis, Alex Moon, Nila Patterson, Hailey Payne, Stella Pelech, Darsh Pradhan, Mason Schneider, Layla Shepherd, Reid Shepherd, Harper Stewart and Avery Yonick.

In the 13-14 Age Groups, winning events were Jacob Corbett and JP Costello. Finishing in the Top 8 were Kate Brinton, Adalyn Dolan, Emma, Marissa Kelley, Grayson Langdon, Prairey Maxwell, Molly Moriarty, Riley Muran, Dravya Pradhan and Payton Robic. Finishing in the Top 16 were Ethan Ackenhausen, Lucy Baley, Winnifred Beardsley, Berkli Dias, JP Dohm, Kai Kirsten, Jason Kraft, Vivian McCaffrey, Eli Mullen, Serkan Patterson, Daniel Peterson and Ali Williams. Also swimming in the meet were Aiden Ackenhausen, Leela Anadkat, Kya Baker, Audrey Brown, Ella Chrun, Charlotte Dahlby, Evan Givens, Graham Hall, Samuel Henke, Ryan Hickel, Cameron House, Andrea Jeliazkova, George Lu, Zoe Mei, Kaedyn Miller, Lilah Orlando, Kenna Riley, Sophie Sobush and Lucy Wener.
Within the 15&Over Age Group, winning events were Asher, Lexi, Avery Cunneen, Anna Grace, Hannah and Sydney. Finishing in the Top 8 were Brody Blatt, Ashlyn Canale, Claire Chumley, Sean McGinley, Kinleigh Neville, Kate Punnewaert, Noel, Nina Schuerer, Camden Theodos, Emma and Aubrey. Finishing in the Top 16 were Drew Baker, Joe Cunningham and Liv Hanes. Also swimming in the meet were Jackson Brinton, Kennedy Chrun, Gigi Demaggio, Jordyn Hamrah, Frances Igney, Aranna Kiewiet, Maddie Mug, Mia Panic, Maddie Riley, Brynne Schneider, Kayla, Olivia Weckherlin and Margaret Willmann.
Next meet will be the CSP Intersquad Meets (11/1-2) and then following FASTival (11/22-24) and Ozark A Champs (11/22-24).
