CSP Places 4th at Summer Sectionals at Mizzou
CSP Had 51 athletes attend this Summer’s Sectional Championships held at the University of Missouri this past week. Despite having many of our athletes just swimming in one or two days of the meet we placed 4th as a team. The Girl’s took home the 3rd place trophy and the Boy’s ended up 7th.
We had several record breaking swims:
Sydney Schoeck – won the 200 IM in a New Meet Record. She now has 5 Sectional records.
Sydney also won the 400 Free, missing the meet record by just 2 tenths of a second. Her swim set new Ozark and Team 17-18 and Open records.
Emma Fouke took 3rd place in the 200 Breaststroke achieving her first Winter and Summer Junior National cut. This swim set new 13-14 Ozark and Team records.
Emma also set 13-14 Ozark and Team records in the 50 Breaststroke placing 12th. She set 13-14 Team Records in the 400 IM placing 9th and 100 Breaststroke also taking 9th place.
Hannah Renaud placed 2nd in the 200 Fly. That swim set new 17-18 and Open Team Records.
Our other Podium finish came from Lexi Cook who placed 2nd in the 1500 Free.
