CSP Kicks Off First Long Course Meet at Edwardsville

After finishing up with the short course season, CSP brought 243 swimmers to the first long course meet of the season hosted at Edwardsville. With only being back in the water for 2 weeks after Spring Break, CSP totaled almost 10,000 team points (9740.5). It was a great break but the swimmers came back recharged and ready to race at the meet this weekend and swam GREAT for the first long course meet back.

For the 8&Under Age Group, winning events were Emma Cunning, Dylan Deahn and Jayden Lai. Finishing in the Top 8 were Maryam Delic, Savannah Elliott, Maya Ferris, Elizabeth Jaeger, Reuben Kaar, Robert Liu, Graham Rosen, Benjamin Russell, Zakariyya Sanaullah and Henry Xu. Finishing in the Top 16 was Anna Ferris, Sikander Manocha, Poppy Muckerman and Ally Wei.

For the 9-10 Age Group, winning events were Ryan Berecz, Lucy Huster, Jason Lai and Emerson Schneider. Finishing in the Top 8 were Yusif Aghayev, David Boland, Anika Goettel, Bernie Hill, Alex Jin, Carter Probst, Tima Ryazanov, Aiden Wei and Yuqi Zhou. Finishing in the Top 16 were Ian An, Maison Birge, Marcus Cunning, Quinn Haug, Arabella Mohart, Lorraine Rickerd and Alice Zhao. Also swimming in the meet were Caroline Capati, Leven Cunning, Benson Han-Walsh, Liliella Kaar, Anna Loft, Georganne Pollnow, Palmer Rand, Ruhi Raval and Charlotte Volk.

Within the 11-12 Age Groups, winning events were Annabelle Crall, Paige Haug and Grace Liu. Finishing in the Top 8 were Julia Bucci, Timmy Chen, Boardie Fouke, Alex Granier, Gavin Heeb, Amelia Kirsten, Sloane Langdon, Tommy Melly, Darsh Pradhan, Parker Robic, Deon Saunders, Chapman Wishy, Nicholas Zagromov and Finn Ziolkowski. Finishing in the Top 16 were Logan Ackenhausen, Nathan Chen, Vihaan Deore, Gianluca Dohm, Tucker House, Calvin Hyland, Nathan Lai, Mason Meconis, Stella Pelech, Amie Reboulet, Ivan Ryazanov, Mason Schneider, Harper Stewart and Angela Wang.
