CSP sent 24 athletes to Zones this year on Team Ozark, and they were also accompanied by CSP Coach Sam Stapleton. CSP has followed up their Spring Sectionals win by winning the Summer Sectional meet this past weekend in Lenexa, Kansas. The boys also defended their title from the spring and won the meet. Our girls placed 2nd again. We also once again had the most athletes in the meet with 46, had the most relay’s in the meet with 40, and the most individual races. CSP had 17 atheltes representing Ozark at this year's Open Water Zones Meet in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and they did a great job. Mason Voss won the 1250 swim for the 10 & Under Boys while Prairey Maxwell was 5th for the 10 & Under Girls. For most of our 13 & Over Swimmers, they were able to compete in their first Long Course Meet of the Season and the results were outstanding. Kledi Kadiu broke our Team Record in the 17 – 18 Boys 50 Free and 100 Breast, while Niko Theodos broke the Pool Record in the 400 Free as well as the Meet Record for the 15 & Over Boys. This past weekend, many of our 12 & Under Swimmers competed in their first full Long Course Meet in almost two years. There were relays and many fast times to be had at this meet and some, a whole lot of racing! Mason Voss set three 10 & Under Meet Records in the 50 Free, 100 Fly and 200 IM. Nora Lee Brown and Trey Cunneen competed at Open Water Junior Nationals in the 5K race in Fort Myers, Florida. The race took place this morning, Saturday April 17th. Both Nora Lee and Trey did a great job! Trey finished in 9th place in the Men's 5K and Nora Lee placed 31st in the Women's 5K.
