Juliette Phillips a member of our Elite group has given her verbal commitment to Binghamton University. Binghamton University is a public research univeristy located in Vestal, New York. Juliette will join the Bearcats in the Fall of 2023. Binghamton is a Division I NCAA school that competes in the American East Conference. CSP hosted our Sprint Your Own Age Meet this past weekend. Almost 75% of our athletes participated in this meet and it was a huge success. Unlike most meets, swimmers will race against swimmers their own age. It makes for more races and more opportunities to swim against swimmers who are your age as well. USA Swimming just annouced the Scholastic All-American List for the 2021/2022 swimming year. Four Tideriders made the list. Caroline Foltz, Anna Moehn, Joshua Noll and JD Suarez all made the list for the 2nd time. Ozark had five swimmers make the list with four coming from CSP. We had two meets on the same weekend. We had over 100 swimmers attend a meet in town at the St. Peter’s Rec Plex, while over 100 swimmers traveled to Evansville, Indiana to swim at the Newburgh Sea Creatures Meet. Our first meet of the 2022 – 2023 Short Course Season was outside! CSP traveled to Cape Girardeau with over 100 swimmers to compete at the Open Air Classic. It was a perfect weekend to race outside! CSP has been invited to the National Age Group Summit at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado November 3-6, 2022. The theme of this year's Summit is "The Distance Revolution." Max Marcus, a member of our Eilte group, was selected to participate in USA Swimming’s National Select Camp, which takes place October 13-16 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The elite training camp features 48 of the nation’s fastest emerging male swimmers. This camp is designed for the top USA Swimming member athletes in the nation to have a once-in-a-lifetime camp experience.
