USA Swimming automatically tabulates scores for IMX (IM Extreme) and IMR (IM Ready) for both Short Course and Long Course Seasons. Nora Lee Brown and Max Marcus competed at USA Winter Junior Nationals West this past weekend at the FMC Natatorium in Chicago, Illinois. CSP Tideriders won their tenth consecutive Ozark A Team Championship. We had 144 swimmers, 814 individual events. That is the highest number CSP has brought to the meet! As a Team, both our men and women score top points tonight along with the team total. CSP scored a combined 7,769.5 points. We scored over 4,000 points more than the second place team. We had 143 swimmers that traveled to O’Fallon, IL for the Seahawks Fall Invite. High Point Awards - David Boland won 7 events in his 8&Under age group. With 125 of our swimmers entered in the meet, CSP Tideriders went up against 32 teams from 5 different LSC’s including Ozark, Missouri Valley, Midwestern, Arkansas and Illinois. Congratulations to Nora Lee Brown and Josh Noll for being named to the 2023 USA Swimming Scholastic All-American List. Athletes need to have a 3.5 GPA or higher, be in high school, and swim at least one Winter Junior National qualifying time. This is Nora Lee's first time on the list and Josh's 3rd time. After being back in the water for about 3 weeks, the CSP Tideriders attended the Seahawks Dive Back In Meet and made a big splash! At this past weekends Central Zone 14 & Under Championship, the Tideriders helped to represent Ozark in a big way! Current CSP athletes did outstanding.
