Tideriders Capture 12th Straight Ozark A Champs Title

Congratulations to the 157 athletes who traveled to Carbondale, Illinois this past weekend and contributed to CSP winning this meet. The Tideriders continued their dominant run this season, securing their 12th consecutive Ozark A Champs title. The team once again showcased depth, teamwork, and strong performances across all age groups, extending one of the most impressive streaks in the LSC.

As a Team, both our men and women score top points tonight along with the team total. CSP scored a combined 8,112.5 points. We scored over 3,000 points more than the second place team.

Individually, we won High Point Awards with David Boland (B10&Under), Boardie Fouke (B11-12), Emma Fouke (G13-14), JP Costello (B13-14) and Hannah Renaud (G15&Over). Finishing in second place for High Point were Parker Robic (B11-12), Ellie Jones (G13-14) and Brody Blatt (B15&Over). Third place High Point Winners were Jason Lai (B11-12), Grayson Langdon (B13-14), and Anna-Grace Guenther (G15&Over).

This past weekend, during the Ozark A Championship Meet, CSP earned three more awards. Coach Chris Etherington was named as Ozark’s Developmental Coach of the Year. Coach Chris McCrary was named Ozark’s Age Group Coach of the Year. Coach Dave McCrary was named Ozark’s Senior Coach of the Year.

For the 10&Under Age Group, winning events was David. Finishing in the Top 8 were Neve Agustin, Dylan, Quinn Haug, Bernie Hill, Alex Jin, Arabella Mohart, Joseph Moore, Catherine Moritz, Srihita Pathuri, Ben Russell, Aiden Wei, Logan Young and Austin Zhou. Finishing in the Top 16 were Leven Cunning and Margaret Melly. Also swimming in the meet were Emma Cunning, Jayden Lai, Teddy Melly and Palmer Rand.

Within the 11-12 Age Groups, winning events were Ryan Berecz, Boardie, Mason Meconis and Parker. Finishing in the Top 8 were Logan Ackenhausen, Timmy Chen, Camryn Costello, Greer Dalrymple, Thomas Donaldson, Anika Goettel, Mia Juarez-Chiovatero, Connor Kraft, Jason, Nathan Lai, Sloane Langdon, Darsh Pradhan, Deon Saunders, Mason Schneider, Harper Stewart and Chapman Wishy. Finishing in the Top 16 were Libby Cole, Caroline Crabtree, Lucy Huster, Hannah Johnson and Nila Patterson.

Finishing in the Top 16 were Aiden Ackenhausen, Ethan Ackenhausen, Leela Anadkat, Winnie Beardsley, Julia Bucci, Jenson Busch, Kelson Cui, Amelia Kirsten, Dhathri Kolli, Grace Liu, Elsa Moore, Dylan Powers, Lucas Theodos, Lucy Werner and Mark Yurkuns.
