Tideriders take on Splash of the Titans meet in Edwardsville

This past weekend, CSP Tideriders athletes competed at another location as our younger swimmers traveled to Edwardsville, Illinois for the Splash of the Titans meet. 82 swimmers represented CSP and performed exceptionally well, showing great energy, sportsmanship, and team spirit throughout the weekend. 

Savannah Elliott captured the title in the Girls 8&Under 25 Free Shootout. David Boland took home the win in the Boys 9-10 50 Free Shootout. Margaret Melly achieved her first “A” time standard in the 50 fly, an exciting milestone in her swimming journey.

For the 8&Under Age Group, winning events was Savannah. Finishing in the Top 8 were Reuben Kaar, Poppy Muckerman, Graham Rosen, Xinqi Shen, Henry Xu. Finishing in the Top 16 were Rayna Banerjee, Lennon Beath, Kennedy Coggin, Jocelyn Li, Gabriel Russell and Anna Wachter. Also swimming in the meet were Jacob Aghayev, Taylor Bodine, Sadie Bree, Elizabeth DeFabo, Primrose Durbin, Shea Gilbert Shipp, Kara Han-Walsh, Joseph Lazaroff, Isabella Lee, Jeremy Li, Ryan Liu, Holly Mallonee, John Malone, Guinevere Odden, Graham Orlando, Ophelia Pottier, Shoshana Rubin, Kavya Sarikonda, Arjun Shah, Allazanna Shipp, Emma Simpson, Carmen Smith, Ayelet Wang and Valerie Zhang.

For the 9-10 Age Group, winning events were David and Margaret. Finishing in the Top 8 were Elias Burnham, Benson Han-Walsh, Robert Liu, Teddy Melly and Nathaniel Patton. Finishing in the Top 16 were Asa Bains and Benjamin Wachter. Also swimming in the meet were Henry Arenberg, Joseph Brodsky, Juana Buera, Amelia Crabtree, Eleanor Cusworth, Maya Ferris, Liliella Kaar, Leon Labs, Edith Mallonee, Thomas Noel, Margaret Schroeder, Shreya Shah, Michael Snyder, Augustus Toussaint, Andy Wang and Paul Zarek.

Within the 11-12 Age Group, Finishing in the Top 16 were Emilia Hahn and Wren Hartupee. Also swimming in the meet were Cindy Chen, John Genovese, Caroline Hahn, Leila Harrison, Marion McCarty and Alexander Quattlebaum.

In the 13-14 Age Groups, Finishing in the Top 16 were Peyton Lewis and Michael Weber. Also swimming in the meet were Apollo Chu, Greyson Dobbs, Alexander Kim, Caleb Meyers, Andrew Qin, Rohan Shah and Hinata Yoshida.

Next meet will be the CSP Intersquad Meet and then following FASTival and Ozark A Champs.
