CSP Wins Long Course Champs for a 6th Year in a Row

This past weekend at Long Course Champs, CSP went into the meet having 39 of our Top Swimmers competing at NCSA Junior Nationals.  We still had 117 athletes entering the meet and representing CSP very well. 

CSP won Long Course Champs for the 6^th straight year, while Emma Fouke won the Penny Taylor Award for the 3^rd straight year as the Outstanding Female Swimmer of the Meet.

Emma set a new Ozark Record in the 11 – 12 Girls 50 Breast, while also swimming on 3 Ozark Record Breaking Relays.  Emma teamed with Indie Layton, Paige Haug and Amelia Kirsten to break the 11 – 12 Girls 200 and 400 Free Relays.  Then Emma, Indie, Paige, and Elsa Moore set the new Ozark Record in the 11 – 12 Girls 200 Medley Relay.

The 13 – 14 Boys also set 2 new Team Records in the relays with JP Costello, Colin Cunneen, Jacob Corbett, and Aiden Kim breaking the 200 Free Relay, while JP, Colin, Aiden and Gio Bucci set the 400 Free Relay.

We also added several swimmers with brand new AAA Zones Cuts:

Our 10 & Under Swimmers were the most dominant age group in the meet.  Jason Lai won the High Point Award for the Boys, with Deon Saunders finishing in 3^rd.  Winning events were Boardie Fouke, Jason, Sloane Langdon, and Deon.  Placing in the Top 8 were Logan Ackenhausen, David Boland, Harper Chism, Vihaan Deore, Anika Goettel, Bryan Li, Leo Loveland, Nila Patterson, Amie Reboulet, Emmerson Schneider, and Benjamin Ward.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Dasha Duncan, Ananya Karwa, and Joseph Moore.

CSP 10 & Unders were the only group to be able to field 2 relays per event and they did great. 

For the Girls, they were 2^nd in the 200 Medley Relay with Emmerson, Sloane, Amie, and Nila, with Anika, Dasha, Harper and Quinn Haug in 5^th.  On the 200 Free Relay, Emmerson, Sloane, Amie, and Nila were 2^nd, with Anika, Dasha, Harper and Quinn in 4^th.

The Boys won both the 200 Free and Medley Relays, with Boardie, Jason, Logan, and Deon winning the 200 Free and Leo, Deon, Jason, and Boardie won the Medley Relay.  David, Leo, Bryan, and Jospeh were 3^rd in the Free Relay while Bryan, Logan, David, and Joseph were 3^rd in the Medley.

In the 11 – 12 Age Group, Emma Won High Point with Indie placing 2^nd for the Girls and Evan Kim was 2^nd for the Boys.  Winning events were Emma, Paige, Evan, and Indie.  Placing in the Top 8 were Annabelle Crall, Charlotte Dahlby, Ellie Jones, Dhathri Kolli, Grace Liu, Luke Loveland, Tommy Melly, Lucy Meyer, Elsa, Eli Voss, Eamon Weis, and Nicholas Zagromov.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Winnie Beardsley, Jenson Busch, Timmy Chen, Camryn Costello, Calvin Hyland, Amelia Kirsten, Audrey Moore, Parker Robic, and Finn Ziolkowski.  Also racing at Long Course Champs were Libby Cole, Hugh Glasstetter, Darsh Pradhan, Mason Schneider, Reid Shepherd, Morgan Victor, and Angela Wang.

The Girls won all four of their relays, while the Boys did the same!

For the 13 – 14-Year-Old Age Group, Prairey Maxwell was 2^nd Place High Point for the Girls and Gio Bucci was 2^nd Place High Point for the Boys.  Winning events were Gio, Adalyn Dolan, Aiden Kim, Grayson Langdon, Prairey, Curtis Murawski, and Vivie Murphy.  Placing in the Top 8 were Jacob Corbett, JP Costello, Colin Cunneen, Marissa Kelley, Vivian McCaffrey, Eli Mullen, Riley Muran, Brodyn Murphy, Brynne Schneider, Mason Voss, and Ali Williams.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Aiden Ackenhausen, Ethan Ackenhausen, Graham Hall, Kai Kirsten, Jason Kraft, Serkan Patterson, and Dravya Pradhan.  Also racing at Long Course Champs were Kya Baker, Audrey Brown, Cameron House, Addie Jeliazkova, Eve Unger, Lucy Werner, and Tyler Yates.
