Heat Lightening Meet Wrap Up
Heat Lightening Meet was a fun event for all who attended. It seems that since January, all of our meets have been high intensity and high stress level for the coaches and swimmers. It was nice to have a meet where the kids could just focus on racing fast and having fun. Those swimmers who had yet to leave for Spring Break had a blast this past weekend.
Anna Scott Baur won the High Point Award for the 10 & Under Girls, Aaron Garner won for the 13 – 14 Boys and Sophia Marusic won for the 15 & Over Girls. We had a number of other swimmers who all placed in the top 5 of the High Point categories.
Winning individual events included Nolan Alper-Esko, Anna Scott, Alexander Benduski, Claire Brouillet, Sarah Donohue, Maya Esparza, Jillian Franks, Aaron Garner, Eric Ji, Katie Knapp, Taylor Korte, Sophia Marusic, Maddoc McGowan and Graham Zucker.
Swimmers placing in the Top 8 were Lauren Beard, Margaret Beimdiek, Luke Brawer, Preston Brouillet, Meaghan Cannon, Izzy Destefano, Amelia Dino, Audrey Dino, Sammie Esparza, Carly Fesler, Alex Fox, Jackson Fox, Avery Fredman, Graham Fredman, Sophie Fredman, Sam Garza, Chloe Hagemann, Parker Hagemann, Morgan Hast, Katie He, Madigan Kinsey, Amelia Koch, Charlie Krasnoff, Noa Longman, Ryan Mauney, Cameron McCrary, Kaia Mills-Lee, Hutton Murdoch, Cami Nourie, Sam Porter, Elisabeth Ragan, Lily Ragan, Noah Unger and Adam Zhao.
Those swimmers who finished in the Top 16 were Nicole Alper-Esko, Avery Bantrup, Emily Findlay, Grant Killeen, Isabelle McGuire, Katie Murdoch, Sophia Park, McClain Suelthaus and Cora Vulin.
Other swimmers also competing at the Heat Lightening Meet included Shaan Ansari, Nat Bilderback, Sophie Bragg, Colby Brandt, Hope Burkey, Noelle Burkey, Teddy Kouvelis and Jonah Zacks.
