CSP Swim Your Own Age Wrap Up

Well the weather outside was frightful, but the pool deck was so delightful.  Waking up to a fresh snowfall was not what anyone had wanted for sure.   But with a three hour time delay, the roads were better, the parking lot was clearer and we had more swimmers swimming this year’s Swim Your Own Age.

Thanks so much to everyone who helped make this meet one of the most successful meets in recent memories for the CSP Tideriders.  Countless people spent many hours months leading up to the meet, and of course many hours at the meet itself.  The new venue resulted in a smoother running meet on the pool deck and faster times in the pool.

In the 6 & Under Age Group, winning events was Sadie Murphy, while placing in the Top 8 were Avery Cunneen, Anya Desai, Addison Difani, Nathan Frank, Chandler Grimm, Isabelle Hawkins, Barrett Hughes, Spencer Kinsey, Lochlan McGowan, Ella Welch, Emma Welch and Madeline Williams.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Madeline Awad, Bennett Baur, Charlotte Brown and Shannon Bryan.

In the 7 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Mary Joyce Bezzant, Charlotte Collier, Daniel Garza and Luke Gill.  Placing in the Top 8 were Samantha Braidwood, Jack Bryan, Grace Coppel, Mitchell Hardeman, Eva Kasal, Christian Marren, Sophie Saur, Margaret Willmann and Henry Zucker.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Jackson Bespalko, Ella Cooper, Sydney Gross, Caitlin Kuhlmann, Cameron LeGros and Sutton Suelthaus.  Morgan Clark also competed with the 7 year olds.

In the 8 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Morgan Hast and Lillian Hsieh.  Those swimmers placing in the Top 8 were Katherine Bias, Aidan Brawer, Trey Cunneen, Sammie Esparza, Everdine Ferguson and Alli Lakebrink.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Matthew Awad, Amelia Dino, Lauren Matthews, Hennessy McGowan, Kennedy McGowan, Skylar Schwent, Adithya Suresh and Jillian Thomason.  Also competing in the 8 Year Old Age Group were Juniper Asikainen, Addie Draper, Losan Huang, Jasmine Li, Meera Upadhyay and Delia Zacks.

 In the 9 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Margaret Beimdiek, Sarah Donohue, Sophie Henriksen, Ryan Mauney and Graham Zucker.  Placing in the Top 8 were Sara Dodson, Collin Logsdon, Lee Naber, Brendan O’Meara, Katherine Roderick, Andrew Smock and Joseph Zarrilli.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Liza Brown, Erik Ely, Taylor Hamrah, Charlie Krasnoff, Erin Lamping, Cameron McCrary, Katie Murdoch and Sophia Park.  Ryan Blinder, Olivia Hattrich, Lucy Trover and Alexis Warren also competed with the 9 Year Olds.

In the 10 Year Old Age Group, winning events was Madeleine Collier, while placing in the Top 8 were Nolan Alper-Esko, Anna Scott Baur, Lewis Dennison, Audrey Dino, Maya Esparza, Graham Fredman, Henry Hardemann, Eric Ji, Karissa Kantz, Maddoc McGowan, Ethan Nagasako, Amy Pumm, Dean Schwager, Ingrid Stahl, Sophie Thompson and Michael Tu.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Steven Busch, Izzy Destefano, Nolan Joyce and Graham Mills.  Also competing with the 10 Year Olds were Nicole Alper-Esko, Preston Brouillet, Clay Derdeyn, Daniel Geno, Chloe Hagemann, Evan Holden, Sophie King, Tommy Kraemer, Spencer Ma, Alex Miller, McClain Suelthaus and Francesca Westendorf.

In the 11 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Koji Barrette, Lauren Beard and Meaghan Cannon. Placing in the Top 8 were Harriet Bezzant, Benjamin Blinder, Meghan Bryan, Ben Evra, Carly Fesler, Jackson Fox, Reed Grimm, Madigan Kinsey, Nathan Lin, Olivia Morales, Maddie Palatt, Elisabeth Ragan, Caroline Roderick, Kaitlyn Rowbottom, Noah Unger and Elizabeth Wiese.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Hope Burkey, Samuel Garza, Mary Hattrich, Matthew Kinney and Michaela Stambaugh.  Avery Bantrup, Colby Brandt, Sarah Hickenbotham, Jason Li, Isabelle McGuire, Isabella Schwent, Noah Smock and Jonah Zacks all competed in the 11 Year Old Age Group.

In the 12 Year Old Age Group, winning events was Drew Willmann, while placing in the Top 8 were Colin Fitzgerald, Sophie Fredman, Parker Hagemann, Ellen Killeen, Hutton Murdoch, Molly Nikkel, Andrew O’Brien and Isabella Sanchez.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Luke Brawer, Noelle Burkey, Anna Dennison, Ethan Doll, Martha Geering, Ivy Goldson, Jan Kasal, Stevie Keyes, Charlotte Marshall, Ellie Marshall and Nathaniel Marsters.  Thad Bilderback and Krysten Holmes also competed in the 12 Year Old Age Group.

In the 13 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Nicole Beard, Natalie Crocker, Allie Hickenbotham, Matthew Hillmer and Wil Welch.  Placing in the Top 8 were Lauren Bell, Alexander Benduski, Jack Bodnar, Riley Deutsch, Alex Fox, Avery Fredman, Aaron Garner, Bailey Hahn, Katie Knapp, Caroline Liekweg, Andrea Morales, Cami Nourie, Samuel Porter and Megan Ross.  Finishing in the Top 16 were Isabel Alter, Lilly Eversman and Grant Killeen.

In the 14 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Lucas Doll and Peri George.  Placing in the Top 8 were Christopher Ball, Sam Biffignani, Katie Brodersen, Claire Brouillet, Caroline Davis, Charlie Eversman, Sydney Giacin, Christina Jurotich and Reid Rogers.
