CSP Wins 8 & Under Champs
CSP went in to the 8 & Under Championships with high hopes for another team victory, and our young swimmers did not disappoint. After a tough battle, where the girls won their age group and the boys came in third, CSP as a team came out on top once again. The 8 & Unders were led by Girl’s High Point Winner Sarah Donohue, while Sammy Esparza came in second!
Winning events for the 8 & Under Girls were Sarah Donohue and Sammy Esparza. Placing in the Top 8 were Taylor Hamrah, Morgan Hast, Alli Lakebrink, Katie Murdoch and Katherine Roderick. Finishing in the Top 16 were Piper Hoekel, Lillian Hsieh, Molly Kirby, Jasmine Li and Kennedy McGowan.
In the Girls 100 Free Relay, Alli, Katherine, Sammy and Sarah were 1st, while Lauren Matthews, Alicia Palatt, Teagan Czech and Hennessy McGowan were 5th, Juniper Asikainen, Annabelle Bouchein, Jasmine and Mary Joyce Bezzant were 6th, Cameron LeGros, Abigail Engman, Taylor and Everdine Ferguson were 7th and Emma Welch, Sutton Suelthaus, Amara Autry and Ella Welch were 8th.
In the 100 Medley Relay, Katherine, Sammy, Alli and Sarah won, while Piper, Marin Guthrie, Lauren and Molly were 4th, and Teagan, Taylor, Hennessy and Lillian were 5th.
Also swimming with the 8 & Under Championship Team were Avery Cunneen, Anya Desai, Brooke Engman, Mia Guerra, Eva Kasal, Emily Lee, Kate Logsdon, Lochlan McGowan, Maison McLean, Ella Parcells, India Stuckenschneider, Margaret Willmann, and Sophia Xu.
For the 8 & Under Boys, winning individual events was Cameron McCrary, while finishing in the Top 8 were Collin Logsdon and Brendan O’Meara. Placing in the Top 16 were Jack Becker, Joseph Carmody, Luke Gill andBrendan Raskin.
In the Boys 100 Free Relays, Collin, Jack, Brendan and Cameron were 3rd, while Nathan Rosenblum, Brendan, Matthew Awad and Ryan Jan were 8th and Lorenzo Gray-Liva, Adithya Suresh, Christian Marren and Curtis Francois were 9th.
Also swimming with the 8 & Under Championship Team were Jack Bryan, Dade Deaver, Max Dennison, Mitchell Hardeman, Justin Jan, Sean Kaveny, Bryson Liang, George Naismith and Austin Wald.
