Tiderider Division II Results
The Division II Championship held at Lindbergh High School and Rockwood Summit High School was a great success for the CSP Tideriders. As a team, CSP earned 11 new “A” times and 101 new “BB” times! Being a prelim/final meet was also quite exciting for the kids. There was music playing as the kids were walked out to the blocks prior to each event at finals. We also walked away with some High Point Awards from the meet this weekend. Matthew Hillmer and Maddoc McGowan (10 & Under Boys) finished in 2nd place, while Riley Deutsch (13 – 14 Girls), 8 year old Sarah Donohue (10 & Under Girls), and Colin Fitzgerald all placed 3rd in their age groups.
Those 10 & Under Swimmers who achieved new Division I Cuts (BB Time Standards) were Anna Scott Baur, Margaret Beimdiek, Addie Bitting (3), Lewis Dennison (5), Izzy Destefano (3), Audrey Dino (3), Sarah Donohue (4), Reed Grimm (6), Sophie Henriksen (2), Eric Ji, Karissa Kantz (3), Madigan Kinsey, Amelia Koch (3), Catherine Liao, Noa Longman (2), Maddoc McGowan (5), Graham Mills, Amy Pumm, Lily Ragan, Michael Tu (5), Noah Unger (2), and Graham Zucker (2).
Winning individual events in the 10 & Unders were Izzy Destefano, Reed Grimm, Amelia Koch and Maddoc McGowan. Placing in the Top 8 were Addie Bitting, Lewis Dennison, Audrey Dino, Sarah Donohue, Graham Fredman, Sarah Hickenbotham, Eric Ji, Karissa Kantz, Catherine Liao, Graham Mills, Lily Ragan, Noah Unger and Graham Zucker. Finishing in the Top 16 were Nolan Alper-Esko, Margaret Beimdiek, Maya Esparza, Sammie Esparza, Evan Holden, Madigan Kinsey, Ethan Nagasako, Amy Pumm, Dean Schwager and Michael Tu.
The 10 & Under Girls 200 Medley Relay team of Margaret, Elizabeth Craig, Sophie and Amelia were 1st, while Izzy, Lily, Karissa and Sarah D were 6th, and Audrey, Catherine, Amy and Noa were 8th. In the 200 Free Relay, Sarah D, Anna Scott, Madigan and Sophie won, while Karissa, Amy, Maya and Sarah H were 8th and Addie, Margaret, Sammie and Catherine were 9th. In the 10 & Under Boys 200 Medley Relay, the team of Graham F, Graham Z, Michael and Graham M were 5th, and in the 200 Free Relay, Michael, Reed, Ethan and Noah were 1st while Graham F, Lewis, Graham Z and Maddoc were 3rd.
Also competing at Division II were Nicole Alper-Esko, Sophie Bragg, Olivia Duntley, Lindsey Fasbinder, Daniel Geno, Taylor Hamrah, Morgan Hast, Kathryn Kaiser, Alli Lakebrink, Collin Logsdon, Hennessy McGowan, Kennedy McGowan, Katherine Roderick, Isabella Schwent, Zoe Shanks, McClain Suelthaus, Austin Wald, Madeline Wald, and Francesca Westendorf.
In the 11 – 12 Age Group, those swimmers who achieved BB times or faster were, Alexander Benduski (5), Colin Fitzgerald (4), Alex Fox (3), Matthew Graham (2), Alex Miller, Andrea Morales (5), Michael Raskin,
Winning Individual Events were Alexander Benduski, Colin Fitzgerald, and Matthew Graham. Swimming in the Top 8 were Ethan Doll, Alex Fox, Bailey Hahn, Alex Miller, Andrea Morales and Michael Raskin. Swimming in Consolation Finals were Jane Baur, Thad Bilderback, Spencer Kates, Charlotte Marshall, Hutton Murdoch, and Molly Nikkel. Also competing with the 11 – 12 year olds was Martha Geering.
In the Girls 200 Medley Relay, Jane, Sophie Fredman, Alex and Andrea were 5th, while in the 200 Free Relay, Andrea, Isabel Alter, Molly and Charlotte were 10th and Bailey, Sophie, Jane and Ellie Marshall were 13th. In the Boys Medley Relay, Colin, Michael, Alex and Hutton were 2nd and Spencer, Stevie Keyes, Ethan and Thad were 10th. In the Free Relay, Colin, Matthew, Alex and Spencer were 2nd, while Michael, Stevie, Ethan and Ben Blinder were 7th.
In the 13 – 14 Age Group, those swimmers who achieved BB times or faster were Claire Albert (2), Brigid Andrews (2), Riley Deutsch (4), Lucas Doll, Max Goldenberg, Eric Graham, Matthew Hillmer (2), Christina Jurotich, Sammy Keyes (2), Taylor Korte (5).
Winning Individual events were Brigid Andrews, Max Goldenberg and Matthew Hillmer. Placing in the Top 8 were Claire Albert, Tristan Belzer, Riley Deutsch, Eric Graham, Christina Jurotich, Sammy Keyes, Taylor Korte and Alexa Kouvelis. Finishing in the Top 16 were Lucas Doll,Sydney Giacin, Carlye Goldenberg and Reid Rogers. Also competing at Division II was Monet Miller.
In the Girls 200 Medley Relay, Riley D, Taylor, Claire and Alexa were 3rd while Riley S, Meredith, Sydney and Eric were 10th. In the 200 Free Relay, Claire, Christina, Brigid and Carlye were 2nd while Taylor, Alexa, Sydney and Riley D were 6th. In the Boys Medley Relay, Sammy, Matthew, Lucas and Eric were 4th, while Reid, Eric, Lucas and Matthew were 4th in the Free Relay.
