CSP Swim Your Own Age Meet Summary
As CSP is about to embark on its 75 Year of swimming, the Swim Your Own Age Meet was a great meet to end its 74th year. We had more CSP athletes at this meet than ever before in our history, Lydia Welty broke a pool record in the 100 Back Stroke and CSP swimmers looked sharp in their new silver anniversary commemorative swim caps.
In the 6 & Under Age Group, winning events were Luke Gill, Piper Hoekel andEva Kasal. Placing in the Top 8 were Christian Marren, Lochlan McGowan, Ella Parcells, Sutton Suelthaus and Emma Welch. Finishing in the Top 16 were Jack Bryan, Kaitlyn Cragg, Avery Cunneen, Anya Desai, Lorenzo Gray-Liva, Chandler Grimm, Ryan Jan, Quinn Judge, Kate Logsdon, Ethan Longman, Alexander McCarter, George Naismith, Nathan Rosenblum, and Ella Welch.
In the 7 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Sarah Donohue, Sammi Esparza, Alli Lakebrink and Graham Zucker. Placing in the Top 8 were Jack Becker, Joseph Carmody, Ruth Crane, Teagan Czech, Dade Deaver, Morgan Hast, Lillian Hsieh, Hennessy McGowan, Kennedy McGowan, Alicia Palatt and Adithya Suresh. Finishing in the Top 16 were Matthew Awad, Annabelle Bouchein, Leila Fischer, Curtis Francois, Ava Goldson, Molly Kirby, Lauren Matthews, and Sophia Xu. Also swimming in the 7 Year Old Age Group were Juniper Asikainen, Amara Autry, Emily Farria, Everdine Ferguson, Genevieve Harrison, Jasmine Li and Gabrielle Van Ness.
In the 8 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Collin Logsdon andCameron McCrary. Placing in the Top 8 were Margaret Beimdiek, Erik Ely, Katie Ferry, Joseph Gill, Sophie Henriksen, Charles Krasnoff, Noa Longman and Brendan O’Meara. Finishing in the Top 16 were Taylor Hamrah, Bryson Liang, Madison Miller, Brendan Raskin, and Katherine Roderick. Also swimming in the 8 Year Old Age Group were Ryan Blinder, Sophie Bragg, Marin Guthrie, Justin Jan, Kaitlin Lattinville, Katherine Murdoch, Alexander Pompian andAlexis Warren.
In the 9 Year Old Age Group, winning events was Madeleine Collier. Placing in the Top 8 were Anna Scott Baur, Elizabeth Craig, Lewis Dennison, Maya Esparza, Graham Fredman, Daniel Gao, Justin Goldenberg, Eric Ji, Amelia Koch, Maddoc McGowan, Ingrid Stahl, Sophia Thomson, Michael Tu and Adam Zhao. Finishing in the Top 16 were Nolan Alper-Esko, Izzy Destefano, Audrey Dino, Evan Holden, Karissa Kantz, Catherine Liao, Graham Mills, Matthew Moody, Ethan Nagasako, Amy Pumm, Dean Schwager and Zoe Shanks. In the 10 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Ben Evra and Sophie Fredman. Placing in the Top 8 were Koji Barrette, Lauren Beard, Ben Blinder, Meg Bryan, Rebecca Crane, Ethan Doll, Eva Farria, Carly Fesler, Jackson Fox, Reed Grimm, Madigan Kinsey, Nathan Lin, Maddie Palatt, Caroline Roderick, and Elizabeth Wiese. Finishing in the Top 16 were Chase Bouchein, Olivia Morales, Elisabeth Ragan, Lily Ragan andNoah Unger. In the 11 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Nancy Hulslander andDrew Willmann. Placing in the Top 8 were Colin Fitzgerald, Bailey Hahn, Spencer Kates, Ellen Killeen, Charlotte Marshall, Ernie McCarter, andHutton Murdoch. Finishing in the Top 16 were Jane Baur, Thad Bilderback, Ben Dubinsky, Ivy Goldson, Nathaniel Marsters, Molly Nikkel andLydia Schmidt. Also swimming in the 11 Year Old Age Group were Ashley Byer, Daniel Cain, Jaclyn Eisenbeis, Martha Geering, Jan Kasal, Grace Lane, Katherine Lucier, Ellie Marshall, Finn Murphy, and Cora Vulin.
In the 12 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Jack Bodnar, Natalie Crocker, Aaron Garner and Matthew Hillmer. Placing in the Top 8 were Michaela Bach, Nicole Beard, Alexander Benduski, Rachel Crane, Riley Deutsch, Alex Fox, Matthew Graham, Katie Knapp, Claire Lin, Corinne Michael, Alex Miller, Cami Nourie, Michael Raskin, Megan Ross, Jake Varela, Wil Welch, andWill Young. In the 13 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Katie Brodersen, Christina Jurotich and Evie Mauze. Placing in the Top 8 were Spencer Anderson, Brigid Andrews, Tristan Belzer, Caroline Davis, Lucas Doll, Charlie Eversman, Peri George, Sydney Giacin, Lexi Hohl, Reid Rogers, Mary Sztukowski and John Tschampel. In the 14 Year Old Age Group, winning events were Tiger Chen, Max Goldenberg, Erin Kelly, Iyayi Ogbevoen and Lydia Welty. Top 8 were Jillian Behrens, Rebecca Corzine, Peter Crocker, Sophia Garland, Caryle Goldenberg, Eric Graham, Jeffrey Martin, Sophia Marusic, Julia Tackes and Colleen Young. Top 16 was Monet Mohler.
