HEAT Fall Classic Results
The HEAT Fall Classic this past weekend was just that, classic! This is our last meet prior to “A” Champs and the Tideriders came prepared to swim fast. CSP picked up 65 new “A” times heading in to our big meet in two weeks. We had the most swimmers at this meet, and more swimmers than we have had at any meet all season. With 189 athletes, CSP looked sharp individiually as well as in the relays, winning every single relay.
Winning individual events with the 8 & Unders were Anna Scott Baur, Sophie Henriksen and Graham Zucker. Placing in the Top 8 were Nicole Alper-Esko, Nolan Alper-Esko, Joseph Carmody, Ruthie Crane, Olivia Duntley, Sammy Esparza, Marin Guthrie, Morgan Hast, Molly Kirby, Charles Krasnoff, Alli Lakebrink, Collin Logsdon, Noa Longman, Hennessy McGowan, Kennedy McGowan, Katie Murdoch, Brendan O’Meara and Katherine Roderick. Finishing in the Top 16 were Sophie Bragg, Teagan Czech, Taylor Hamrah, Piper Hoekeland Austin Wald. In the Girls Free Relays, Sophie, Sammie, Alli and Anna Scott won, while Katherine, Ruthie, Kennedy and Morgan were 2nd, Katie, Hennessy, Olivia and Molly were 3rd, and Piper, Nicole, Marin and Sophie were 4th. In the Girls Medley Relays, Noa, Anna Scott, Sophie and Alli won, while Ruthie, Hennessy, Kennedy and Katherine were 2nd and Piper, Taylor, Katie and Morgan were 3rd. In the Boys Relays, Nolan, Charles, Collin and Brendan won the Free, while Collin, Charles, Graham and Nolan won the Medley. Also competing with the 8 & Under swimmers were Anya Desai, Lochlan McGowan and Sutton Suelthaus.
In the 9 – 10 year old age group, winning individual events were Koji Barrette, Lauren Beard, Meghan Bryan, Ben Evra, Carly Fesler and Kaitlyn Rowbottom. Placing in the Top 8 wereHarriett Bezzant, Benjamin Blinder, Charles Bryan, Rebecca Crane, Lewis Dennison, Eva Farria, Jackson Fox, Graham Fredman, Sophia Fredman, Justin Goldenberg, Madigan Kinsey, Nathan Lin, Maddoc McGowan, Olivia Morales, Ethan Nagasako, Amy Pumm, Elisabeth Ragan, Caroline Roderick, Dean Schwager, Michael Tu, Noah Unger andElizabeth Wiese. Finishing in the Top 16 were Maya Esparza, Sarah Hickenbotham, Karissa Kantz, Katherine Lucier, Graham Mills, Lily Ragan, McClain Suelthaus and Sophie Thompson. In the Girls Relays, winning the Free Relay was Kaitlyn, Caroline, Meg and Rebecca, while Carly, Elisabeth, Elizabeth and Eva were 4th, Harriet, Lily, Maya and Sophie were 5th and Olivia, Sarah, Amy and Madigan were 6th. Winning the Medley Relay was Caroline, Elizabeth, Lauren and Rebecca, while Kaitlyn, Sophie, Meg and Carly were 2nd, Lily, Sarah, Eva and Amy were 5th and Olivia, Madigan, Elisabeth and Maya were 6th. In the Boys Relays, winning the Free was Nathan, Koji, Jackson and Ben, while Noah, Graham, Dean and Maddoc were 3rd. Winning the Medley Relay was Lewis, Ben, Koji and Jackson, while placing 2nd was Ben, Justin, Graham and Noah, and Maddoc, Dean, Ethan and Charlie were 3rd. Also competing with the 10 & Unders were Avery Bantrup, Addie Bitting, Clay Derdeyn, Audrey Dino, Lindsey Fasbinder, Isabella Francois, Sophia King, Zoe Shanks, Michaela Stambaugh and Francesca Westendorf.
Winning individual events in the 11 – 12 age group were Jack Bodnar, Natalie Crocker, Caroline Davis, Aaron Garner, Alex Miller and Abbey Owenby. Placing in the Top 8 were Nicole Beard, Alexander Benduski, Rachel Crane, Riley Deutsch, Alex Fox, Avery Fredman, Matthew Graham, Allie Hickenbotham, Matthew Hillmer, Nancy Hulslander, Katie Knapp, Caroline Liekweg, Claire Lin, Cami Nourie, Andrew O’Brien, Michael Raskin, Jake Varela, Wil Welch, Drew Willmann and Will Young. Finishing Top 16 were Lauren Bell, Stevey Keyes, Andrea Morales, Hutton Murdoch, Megan Ross and Lydia Schmidt. In the Girls Free Relays, the winning team was comprised of Claire, Abbey, Caroline and Natalie, while Rachel, Katie, Caroline and Cami were 3rd, Nancy, Andrea, Riley and Allie were 6th, and Megan, Lauren, Nicole and Alex were 7th. In the Medley Relays, Abbey, Rachel, Caroline and Natalie were 1st, Cami, Katie, Allie and Caroline were 3rd, Riley, Nicole, Lauren and Megan were 4th, and Nancy, Alex, Andrea and Lydia were 5th. Winning the Boys Free Relay was Will, Jack, Alex and Jake, while Aaron, Matt, Wil, and Drew were 3rd, and Alex, Avery, Hutton and Andrew were 4th. On the Boys first place Medley Relay was Drew, Alex, Jack and Jake, while Matt, Michael, Aaron and Wil were 3rd and Stevey, Andrew, Avery and Hutton were 7th. Also competing with the 11 – 12 year olds were Isabel Alter, Jane Baur, Thad Bilderback, Ashley Byer, Martha Geering, Spencer Kates, Finn Murphy and Isabella Sanchez.
In the 13 – 14 age group, Tiger Chen, Max Goldenberg, Melissa Melnick, Iyayi Ogbevoen, Collin Schott and Lydia Welty, all won individual events. Placing in the Top 8 were Brigid Andrews, Jillian Behrens, Katie Brodersen, Rebecca Corzine, Lexi Daniels, Peri George, Eric Graham, Christina Jurotich, Audrey Kelly, Erin Kelly, Sammy Keyes, Taylor Korte, Alexa Kouvelis, Jeffrey Martin, Evie Mauze, Stephanie Morse, Julia Tackes, John Tschampel, Colleen Young and Toby Young. Tristan Belzer, Carlye Goldenberg and Anna Reichert all placed in the Top 16. Winning the Girls Free Relay was Melissa, Lydia, Erin and Lexi, while Jillian, Evie, Rebecca and Julia were 3rd, Anna, Stephanie, Christina and Katie were 5thand Taylor, Carlye, Peri and Sydney Giacin were 6th. In the Medley Relay, Lydia, Erin, Melissa and Lexi won, while Evie, Christina, Rebecca and Stephanie were 3rd, Anna, Katie, Peri and Julia were 5th, and Brigid, Alexa, Carlye and Sydney were 7th. In the Boys Free Relay, Collin, Tiger, Max and Iyayi won, while Toby, Sammy, Eric and Jeffrey were 2nd. Winning the Boys Medley Relay was Collin, Tiger, Max and Iyayi, while Eric, Jeffrey, John and Sammy were 3rd. Also swimming with the 13 – 14 year olds were Abigail Boras, Gabriella Kohring and Meredith Westrich,
Winning individual events for the 15 & Over were Maggie Cox, Taylor Maurer, Hunter Mehring, Christopher Reichert, Luke Sloan, Gabby Vieira and Helen Wojdylo. Swimmers who placed in the Top 8 were Samm Crocker, Ashley Daniels, Haley Debandt, Sarah Finley, Jillian Franks, Vaios Kouvelis, Nicole Maurer, Claire Rater, Ashley Reichert, Nicholas Reichert and Grace Stiegemeyer. Swimmers who placed in the Top 16 were Mary O’Leary, Samantha Shively and Dani Skor. Winning the Girls Free Relays was Gabby, Samm, Grace and Sarah, while Haley, Jillian, Claire and Ashley were 2nd, and Mary, Nicole, Taylor and Ashley were 4th. In the Medley Relays, Sarah, Maggie, Gabby and Samm won, while Claire, Taylor, Nicole and Ashley were 2nd, and Jillian, Sammy Bale, Ashley and Mary were 5th. Also competing with the 15 & Over Age Group was Sophie Allen.
