CSP Attends FAST Last Chance Meet
We had over 110 swimmers participate in the FAST Last Chance meet this past weekend. This is always a great meet for swimmers that haven’t done meets in a while and for swimmers chasing after those “BB” Time Standards to qualify for Division I Championships. CSP swimmers picked up a lot of new “BB” cuts, more “BB” cuts and best times. Way to go, Tideriders!
For the 10&Under Age Group, winning events was David Boland, Vihaan Deore, Connor Kraft, Alex Moon, Joseph Moore, Layla Shepherd and Ben Ward. Finishing in the Top 8 were Yusif Aghayev, Neve Agustin, Alexa Brinton, Harper Chism, Greer Dalrymple, Dasha Duncan, Tucker House, Alex Jin, Nathan Lai, Dylan Li, Nila Patterson, Amie Reboulet, Dhruv Rohatgi, Emerson Schneider, Nate Thompson and Avery Yonick. Finishing in the Top 16 were Andrew Burns, Locke Carmichael, Cindy Chen, Isabelle Doyle, Kivanc Karasahin, Nicholas Liebermann, Daphne Pottier, Palmer Rand, Lorraine Rickerd, Edward Ronnie, Alice Zhao and Yilin Zhao. Also swimming in the meet were Isaiah Asiimwe, Natalie Asiimwe, Nicole Asiimwe, Maya Bogdan, Avery Faupel, Priyanka Gandhi, Quinn Haug, Finnley Hertlein, Kennedy Johnson, Saanvi Sharma, Sawyer Snyder and Edith Spitzfaden
10&Under Relays
In the Girls 200 Free Relays, Daphne, Quinn, Alexa and Dasha were 1st and Avery, Lorraine, Layla and Nila were 2nd. In the Girls 200 Medley Relay, Dasha, Nila, Emerson and Neve finished 1st. Meanwhile in the Boys 200 Free Relays, Alex, David, Connor and Joseph finished 1st, and Ben, Nathan, Vihaan and Tucker finished 2nd. In the Boys 200 Medley Relay, Joseph, David, Dylan and Yusif finished 2nd.
Within the 10-12 Age Groups, winning events were Timmy Chen, Annabelle Crall, Sammie Genin, Audrey Moore and Nicholas Zagromov. Finishing in the Top 8 were Winnie Beardsley, Chloe Burns, Jenson Busch, William Chen, Max Etherington, Evan Givens, Hugh Glastetter, Alex Granier, Gavin Heeb, Charlotte Herbst, Calvin Hyland, Joseph, Liam O’Shaughnessy, Amelie Ronnie, Mason Schneider, Reid Shepherd, Morgan Victor, Tyler Yates and Finn Ziolkowski. Finishing in the Top 16 were Amelie Bariteau, Christopher Carron, Nathan Chen, Carter Franks, Sally Gray Mueth, Mercan Karasahin, Ilana Moons and Hailey Payne. Also swimming in the meet was Simran Sharma.
10-12 Relays
In the Girls 200 Free Relays, Audrey, Morgan, Annabelle and Winnie finished 1st, Claire, Charlotte, Hailey and Simran finished 3rd, and Amelie B, Sally, Carter and Ilana finished 6th. In the girls Girls 200 Medley Relay, Charlotte, Chloe, Winnie and Audrey finished 2nd. Meanwhile in the Boys 200 Free Relays, William, Nicholas, Finn and Timmy finished 1st, Hugh, Reid, Mason and Calvin finished 3rd, and Gavin, Evan, Max and Nathan finished 4th. In the Boys 200 Medley Relays, Max, Vihaan, Nathan and Alex finished 1st and Timmy, Gavin, Mason and Hugh took 2nd.
In the 12-14 Age Groups, winning events were Ethan Ackenhausen, Berkli Dias, Miller Dorsey, Vivian McCaffrey, Kaedyn Miller and Eli Mullen. Finishing in the Top 8 were Chase Bartels, John Delhougne, Jason Kraft, Sebastian Schmitt-Arango and Lucy Werner. Finishing in the Top 16 were Jenson, Ryan Hickel, Yana Manaeva, Andrew Nolan, Nicholas Nolan and Landon Waldman.
Within the 15&Over Age Group, winning events was Ahmir Halliburton and Cece Shah. Finishing in the Top 8 was Sam Etherington.
12&Over Relays
In the Girls 200 Free Relay Lucy, Vivian, Berkli and Kaedyn finished 3rd. In the Boys 200 Free Relays, Miller, Chase, Eli and Ahmir finished 2nd, while Ryan, Sebastian, Jason and Ethan took 4th.
