Maddie Wallof the Ladue High School Swim Team and a
Senior Elite swimmer for the CSP Tideriders, was named a Post
Dispatch Athlete of the Week on December 23,
2009.

At the Lindbergh Invitational
on Saturday, Wall, a sophomore, set pool and event records in
winning the 200 freestyle (1:53.68) and 500 freestyle (5:09.57). In
a dual with Kirkwood on Thursday, she won the 100 butterfly (59.83)
and 200 IM (2:11.29). Wall's best times this season are tops in the
area in four events — 100 fly, 200 free, 200 IM and 500 free.
At the State Meet last season, Wall finished fifth in the 200
free and sixth in the 500 free events.
